I shudder to think of those who died because they thought God would heal them and so they refused medicine. I do not believe god will allow us to extend our life beyond our time. But I also believe God will allow us to suffer an early death if he gives us options and we deny those options.
while this is nit the case for covid for everyone. Some should take it. God does not promise to heal everyone otherwise people would not die. Our churches would be full of men and woman who are centuries old praising God
while yes I agree. The most important thing is God. And the gospel. To tell people don’t worry God will heal you don’t take this medicine. That is just wrong

Sadly I have heard of this too many times from different people. As one former conservative talk show host said. Once you start going down hill it’s to late. He died a few days later praying people change their views and apologizing for the false info he gave

This is from back in 2005. I have heard that there is something in the vaccine to “turn off” the God gene”. VMAT2 gene. I will try and find where I saw that, but if true, this could definitely be the “strong delusion “ spoken of in Thessalonians.

Yes I do but more than that scripture tells us that that if we are poisoned that no harm shall come to us.
Considering the pros and cons of the shot I came to this conclusion.
I could never forgive myself nor ignore the possibility that if my wife became sick and (with her health conditions) died that my ignorance was a contributing factor.
My neighbor next door also is high risk in whom I take care of for she is a senior widow.
To be honest my health risk was of very little concern.
In short I was trusting God in my decision to do what I come to believe was the right thing.
When people (ie government, government agencies, and media) lose (destroy) their own credibility, it’s not paranoid to distrust them. I’m as angry as a wet cat about what they have done and are doing.
It’s up to them to heal their credibility. But that would require a full 180 degree turnaround and a lot of time of corrected behavior. I don’t see that happening.
