I read about this urine treatment to reverse chronic illnesses like cancer, diabetic, high blood pressure and even hiv. To drink your own urine just sounds like a health hazard and very unhygienic. Can anyone share some light to this?
 
Umm.. yeah, that's disgusting, don't do it. What's in urine... water, waste products... and seriously doubtful there will ever be a scientific study done on that. Because they wouldn't be able to find volunteers lol.
 
I definitely wouldn't volunteer for that study, I was just curious if anyone had heard of this. But growing up in rural area, we use to walk barefoot all the time, I remember that when we had cuts or bruises on your feet we were told to pee on them, apparently it made the healing faster. I don't knw if it did that all I remember is that the sting on the cut when you pee on it.
 
It is not a health hazard as such, as said, urine is mainly water, and some waste products.
....but still, it is expelled from the body for a reason

I would have thought that a better idea would be to get rid of more "waste" products rather than adding them.

Nope. That's voodoo stuff. Stay away from such stupidity.

However, and this is true. If you are in desert with no water, save your urine for some hydration. Nasty, but life saving.

So, what you're saying is that it wasn't lemonade I saw you drinking earlier?
 
In some countries, urine actually is used to pour on a bad cut or wound to sterilize it.. Though I don't think I'd wanna drink it..

Since when is urine sterile lol? Pretty sure that nothing that comes out of the body is "sterile," otherwise doctors wouldn't need to do all that scrubbing before going into such a nice clean environment, and you wouldn't have to use those wipes before giving a "clean" urine sample. Sorry for being graphic, but ewww this discussion lol!
 
I guess that's why we were told to pee on cuts and wounds, in those days clinics and hospitals were very far from communities so people used other ways for healing.

.........although, l hear this method of treatment kills your love life. :(

My advice: Carry Tic Tacs
