Welcome 😊
The complexities behind a relationship breakdown can be numerous and profound, and usually need to be unravelled over time. As far as Christian marriages are concerned, whatever the outcome it must be honourable to God. This is why the privacy and good counsel from/with your pastor and perhaps other qualified Christian relationship counsellors is so important for your understanding the situation you are in, and the way forward from a godly perspective.
I'm not saying that the anecdotal advice you will receive from fellow members of this group is unhelpful, obviously it is. But for pointed and qualified advice there needs to be a close scrutiny of your situation, and of you and ideally of your partner too, before truly qualified advice can be given. I would have liked access to that when I went through a marriage breakdown many years ago, but such a service was not available. So I had to do my self analysis, and marriage analysis, and with the counsel of the Holy Spirit acquired through prayer, reading the Bible and other literature for instruction, particularly on what it takes to be a good spouse, I have learnt through that process and have pressed forward from there.
