It doesn't say they possess the ability to reproduce with man. That's supposition.
Genesis 6 says they did have the ability, and did use it.

Genesis 6:1-2
Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters
were born to them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful;
and they took for themselves of all whom they chose.

See what it says?
I do.

Now...
Let's see how your denial ability is functioning! ;)

Angels do not reproduce because angels are not a species, they are spiritual entities.
Spiritual entities?
Entities that can eat human food?

Genesis 18 says they ate the food Abraham offered them.

Star Trek gave us a point of reference to work with.
After materializing, they were just as real physically as you and me.

He chose and of course He did, Cameron.

Though the choice is more a national choice by God as Israel was severed from Christ.

As for individual election, 'many are called but few are chosen'.

The whole point of the letter of the Romans was a detailed description of the failure
of the nation of Israel. The elect nation was hardened by God, severed, grafted out.

Please resist quoting from Romans to support the idea that someone is destined to
become a Christian. Israel has a red light but the Gentile nations have the green light.

Paul is not discussing a personal, individual election, in the letter to the Romans.

At the national level God does not take sides.

At the personal level God, once again, does not show favoritism.

To imagine that God would choose the Inquisitor and pass over Cameron, though on the
surface. That seems to be the case, that God is demonstrating an extraordinary favoritism
towards the Inquisitor. It is simply not true Cameron.
Wrong! On a national level, God took sides with Issac & Jacob -- two INDIVIDUALS. The other two individuals...not so much. They were excluded from the Abrahamic Covenant of Promise. And God chose Pharaoh to remain in his reprobate state. We have five individuals mentioned in Rom 9.

And quit already with your lame "favoritism" or "discrimination" argument. If you're going to use that argument, then you need to demonstrate from scripture HOW God discriminated! You need to show the basis for the discrimination (race, color, creed, religion, morality, spirituality, social standing, economic status...what?). But since you won't be able to, then you should just cease and desist from employing another inane straw man, even though you think it's such a clever talking point. Why can't you just believe the bible. God does everything for his own pleasure AND according to the counsel of his own will.

Aren't you the one who said God didn't play favorites?
Paul going to the Jew first was not a matter of favoritism.

It was a matter of where his teaching could take root quicker,
because gentiles were not yet familiar with Scripture like the Jews were.

The passage does not say that "the sons of God" made little babies with "the daughters of men". What you see is your own presupposition that you superimpose upon the passage.

If sons of God there is angels, you still have no explanation of how angels had the ability to change the creation mandate. You have to assume it into the text. You are changing a decree of God without a scriptural basis.

And God chose Pharaoh to remain in his reprobate state.
You are saying God could have chosen to remove Pharaoh from his reprobate state, and into salvation?

No, it was a matter of order. God began first with Jews and then to Gentiles. Jews actually would be a harder sell on the gospel with all their baggage.

Speaking of 'babies."

Christians who remain as babies spiritually should not teach the adults.
But, they will.
That is...
If they are obstinate children.

Hmmmmmmm?

Who are the NT authors? With the one exception of Luke?

All what? Jews.

You should really follow your own advice.

But you won't because...

Well, you get it.

My argument is bolstered by the fact that the Jews were also blinded in part.

That Jews wrote the majority of scripture is just part of the fulfillment of God's promise that all the nations of the earth will be blessed through Abraham.

Get to the Hebrew, perhaps?

Now it came to pass, when mankind {literally 'adam - came to be used for 'mankind'}
had begun to 'become numerous'/multiply on the face of the ground {adamah},
and daughters/'beautiful women' had been born unto them . . .2~~
that the sons of God {beni ha Elohiym idiom: literally sons of 'elohiym/gods}
kept watching the daughters of mankind . . . that they were very beautiful . . .
and they took/'seized passionately' to them women {'ishshah}
{here is a masculine plural suffix signifying 'it happened
but was irregular'} of all whom they examined and selected.

Something tells me, if those angels had used condoms?
We would not be seeing the Nephilim.

Its called "deduction."

Cameron!
Your mom is calling you!
See you tomorrow again on the street.
As I've said before, get up off the couch in the basement, change your pajamas, loose the suspenders, they don't match your bowtie. Go outside and get some fresh air. And please, use a little less starch in your tighty-whities. You are choking off oxygen to your brain.

The Elect of God Defined.

The elect of God
are those who God foreknown would, as believers without willful unbelief, ultimately choose to cooperate with His grace within the sound doctrine of Jesus Christ and the promptings of the Holy Spirit.

The elect of God
Collossians 3:12
Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
Ephesians 1:4
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
God foreknown
1 Peter 1:2
Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
Ephesians 1:4
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Believers without willful unbelief
2 Thessalonians 2:13
But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
Romans 4:20
He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
Ultimately choose to cooperate with His grace
1 Corinthians 15:10
But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
Hebrews 4:11
Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
Within the sound doctrine of Jesus Christ
Titus 1:9
Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.
Acts 2:42
And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
Promptings of the Holy Spirit.
Psalms 51:11
Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
Ephisians 1:13
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

You don't like playing the game you started? It's good distraction for you since you can't refute the posts showing what you posted was inaccurate.

Eternal life must come through Christ, but it was only necessary through the cross once sin entered in. Adam was under a works covenant initially. Had he kept the commandment not to eat, keep the garden, and be fruitful and multiply, at some point God would have conferred eternal life upon him.
Interesting interpretation you have there.

I would sum everything up in Christ and before he had eaten of good and evil.

For me, that would be the predestination of the Christ even in the garden.
