That seems to be a stretch. Zelensky is going to lose badly and he is already losing.
It may be easier to imagine an war in the US where the south and north divided and and took up arms one with the other. It would be like the Russians who had grown up and married and live in Russia. If your wife's family is from Ukraine then you have no idea if they are well or if they died at some point in the war. If your brother married an Ukrainian and lives in Ukraine you have no idea if he is one of the very Ukrainians soldiers you will encounter in the war tomorrow. When you recognize the faces of your enemy in war and find that you love them you will see Putin's demise.
The problem is we are naive. If you simply go with the flow then you will be Ukraine good.. Russia bad.
I don’t support either side for there is a deeper Truth buried under much propaganda. This world is on the path toward the Harvest of the world.
The depths of darkness and deceit is not comprehendible for most.
Is the war between the National Army of each Nation or a battle between pro-Ukraine and pro-Russian people of the disputed areas? The narrative itself reveals much insight.

It's not hard to discern this conflict. Russia started it. Russia bombards civilians and civil infrastructure with missiles. Russia lied about invading Ukraine in the first place. I don't believe that Ukraine is entirely clean, neither do Ukrainians. There is high level corruption in Ukraine but nothing like Russia.
The internal disputes have been going on for some time, as no doubt you know. How would you react if Mexicans in Texas took up arms against Americans? After all, Texas is really Mexican territory. Too much of the pot calling the kettle black in a lot of conversations on this subject.

However the fight is not over....not by a long shot. The Ukranians are cobbling together their counteroffensive...they have high tech weapons and have finished extensive training in how to use them effectively. Also Russia is having trouble keeping up with losing their counter battery fire radar systems...Ukranians lose theirs as well but theirs are getting replaced with American high tech systems synced with NATO specs so that all those German Leopard tanks can return fire BEFORE the shells even land...fire and be gone before their shells land too.
What if all the gains made by Russia in the past 6 months were erased? What if they were not only erased but they lost Sevastopol and Meritopal as well? ....even Crimea?
Currently, modest estimates have between 2-3 Russians dying for every Ukranian fighter...(invading enemy always loses more than the invaded)
And where that's tough...it's about to get worse. Ukranians have a great morale and have been working with second rate equipment up to a point...but that's about to change. Russian morale isn't quite as good.
Russia is a big country with more resources than Ukraine...they should have won this months ago. But they didn't. They have had to enforce a "mobilization" AKA conscripts already. Putin is planning on another.
Where Ukranians are asking for volunteers...Poland wants to answer that call themselves.
Putin's arrogance placed him in this situation. His much vaunted military modernisation program has been shown to be a flop. Too much money was siphoned off by his crooked associates and Western sanctions made life more difficult fort manufacturing weapons. I hope Putin's fall is total. Putting God's name to his murderous rampage only increases his guilt.
might want to look into zelensky. he is no more of a good guy than putin.

This supposed 200,000 counter-offensive consists of mostly barely pubescent kids and grizzled over the hill codgers forced into service against their will by armed to the teeth press gangs. Only a relatively small reserve of elite troops remain, who themselves are rapidly being turned into fertilizer as they are thrust into hot-spots.
This will be the last army Ukraine will conscript, fated inevitably to destruction.
Everybody knows Crimea is gone never to return. This would include Zelensky in the Europeans, who have said so themselves. Mariupol will become a bargaining chip when coming to terms, lest Ukraine become landlocked.
As for a 3:1 kill ratio in favor of Ukraine.......such are the addled ravings brought on by cocaine withdrawal symptoms and hefty bribes.
You do realize that the major bridges crossing the Dnieper have yet to be destroyed by the Russian's correct? I wonder why?
I have yet to hear of any dire shortages of good old-fashioned TU-95s and dumb bombs. Which if deployed I think would shorten this war radically. Why this seemingly foolish restraint?
All of the bluster about retaking Crimea is well and truly over once and for all.
Yeah....he's getting a wake-up call....the bombing/assassination inside of Russia of the ultra nationalist radio host was it. Then there have been a bunch of fires and other explosions at munitions factories and Federal buildings.
The people won't publicly voice an opinion...but they will burn a building.
There's a sizeable mass of people who will listen and believe propaganda. Then there are the free thinkers. People who want to know the nuts and bolts of why....
Add this to those who have lost friends and family because they got drafted....
Then there's the people who are going broke because of the runaway inflation. Both Rubles are being devalued and their value on the world markets is dropping like a rock. (Many people in certain nations watch the exchange rates very closely)
Russians who were alive in the 1990's remember when they had 3 different Rubles that each failed....the current one is sharing their fate as it's now 80 Rubles to one US Dollar and 100+ for one Pound Stirling.
Russia is getting close to being done in several ways. We can only hope that it will be peaceful and not so violent.
Crimea is going to return.
I'm sorry to hurt your feelings but between the conscriptions, property confiscation, and forced immigration the Crimeans prefer Ukraine over Russia.
Russia will still have a relationship with Crimea because it's the only port that doesn't freeze in the winter that Russia can access easily. But they are crying over their occupation and have been.
Sevastopol and Meritopol are strategic points in the coming spring offensive. And where Bakhmut might be falling....the encircles around the city can be drawn much bigger....and it appears that this is happening. The attackers are getting cut off.
Where lately the Russians have resorted to completely destroying a city to claim it "liberated"....it hasn't always been the case. Bakhmut looks like a post apocalyptic movie set instead of a resort town. There's nothing of value in the town left. Just a residential area where 4,000+ people live stubbornly in the middle of a war zone. (I have no idea why)
I don't see it going well for Russia....especially as they run out of men and munitions and food. Wagner mercs have had to expend some of their best troops to make the gains they have. I don't see them lasting much longer.
This Russia Ukraine war is all linked to the globalist elite wanting the new world order, many country leaders are calling for it, they are all W.E.F. puppets

You are really going to have to put a polish on that silver tongue of yours to convince anybody that the various engagements at the front are demonstrating significant Ukrainian advances.
All that I see are Russian cauldrons and kill-boxes, with a steady stream of incoming Ukrainian soon to be victims. With Russian control of the entrance and exit road networks.
