Also the reason why we have gun ownership amendment rights is in case the government turns against its own people.

Because during WWII both Germans and Russians did the same thing.
So if I understand correctly Russia used their old military equipment, stuff the US would have mothballed and they filled them with guys from their prisons. So they didn't care that the men were dying and he equipment being destroyed, it was destined for the scrapheap anyway. But in so doing they depleted our ammo, our weapons, and wiped out Ukraine's army. Now their real army with the real weapons can come in when Ukraine is exhausted and out of everything.
