If Putin gets all of Ukraine, he will not stop there. If Putin wins, endless conflict. Hitler told the world exactly what he planned to do and how he would go about it. He gave it his best shot and lost. Putin has also told the world what he plans to do. He's a bit smarter than Hitler. He has to be, because he is all bluff and bluster. He relies on the West caving in, which could still happen.
Russia will not start a nuclear war. They are not that dumb. It will be Iran, Pakistan or maybe North Korea. Iran or Pakistan will attack out of religious hatred for Israel. For now, Pakistan is not controlled by Muslim fundamentalists. They also need their nukes to balance India. Less likely, North Korea out of paranoia and ego. The initial target will will be Israel. I'm watching Iran.
Another possibility is that Israel uses nukes to stop Iran making nuclear weapons. A whole lot of countries
would be glad to see the end of Iran. Not me. Iranians are not the enemy, it is the regime that needs to be brought down.

Disagree. Putin is a gangsta mob boss this much is true. But an intelligent, clear thinking rational mob boss. And a far more intelligent mob boss than most. A mob boss who wants to stay in power and eliminate sanctions to keep his operation running smoothly.

Clear thinking and rational? Maybe, but he completely underestimated Ukraine's willingness to resist, Europe's resolve to help Ukraine and overestimated his military capabilities. If he was running a company, he would have sent it bankrupt by now. Part of Putin's problem is his isolation. He is out of touch with reality. This happens to a lot of dictators. Hitler was committing divisions that did not exist to Germany's defence. That is not the mark of a rational being. No doubt Putin was rational at one time. Now he believes his own propaganda. It's pathetic and tragic. The human cost on both sides of the border is immense, as is the cost of waging this war. Putin will answer to God for his unjustified treatment of Ukraine and also his own troops. I would not like to be in his shoes on that day.
As will the many many other spooky bad actors, mid-level mob Coppos, and street level muscle......from Europe and the West.
They are all equally guilty and equally damned if they do not seek out Jesus and plead His blood. From what I can tell, the probability of any of these nutters actually and sincerely repenting is very very low indeed.
