The vast majority of Australians are vaccinated. The vast majority are still alive. I live in a retirement village. The average age here is 87. I was not asked my vaccination status before I moved here. I've had 3 vaccinations.
I had a heart problem 3 years before Covid. It's no better or worse now. I'm sure the vaccine will kill me by the time I'm 120. I can just imagine the "told you so" from anti vaxxers.
I must say that I agree with metric measurements to a point. Length and weight are fine. Pressure? A pascal is about the pressure an ant exerts when it breaths out. More seriously, the Babylonians used 60 as the base for mathematics rather than 100. 60 is divisible by a wider range of numbers so it makes sense. (I don't remember why 100 replaced 60). And that is why there are 12 inches in a foot and 3 feet in a yard.
All you need for weight is a standard. I was briefly involved in this. So there would have been a stone that was a certain weight and everything had to be matched to that weight. It's no different now. My work used to hire out certified weights to test scale accuracy. It's far more interesting than it sounds. I visited one lab that had maybe the world's longest tape measure. They wanted to know the length change due to temperature variations. Someone actually paid to find out!
Digital ID is preparation for the mark of the beast. I'm having none of it. The government is pushing me every time I have dealings with the tax man or the medical system. No thanks. I have no banking, payment app or even my birth date on my phone. I watch people struggle trying to pay for things via their phone. It's not even time efficient.

I understand the concern of the government knowing too much about us, but they already do! When we visit internet sites, like this one, we are leaving a digital footprint that Big Technology tracks and then that information can be handed over to the government. Our cars are being photographed by the government, which gives away our travel patterns. We are photographed by CCTV while walking down the sidewalk, which gives away that movement. Our checking accounts are monitored for patterns. Our medical and pharmaceutical visits and health issues are tracked on computers. The list goes on and on...
There is NO way to avoid being monitored by Big Technology or Big Government. That ship has sailed, sadly. So adding the Read ID is not that big of a deal...

corresponds to around 21,266 votes! 
Only just under half of those eligible to vote took part in the ballot. During the referendum campaign, supporters repeatedly emphasized that participation would remain voluntary. However, the text of the law lacks clear wording on this point.

I agree and it's a crime what has happened.
They want to be like the Most High, omnipotent and omniscient.
Just one example of the wickedness is that my state agencies released the personal information of the citizens that they promised would be confidential if we only trust the system. They were caught publicly at least 6 times that I read about in the local paper! They even released SS#s!

The pastors dropped the ball at the second Iraq war that was justified by their false 9// narrative. Senators Dr Ron Paul and Robert Byrd spoke out against the reams of paper that nobody read through except the lawyers paid to gut the Federal and all state constitutions. They could not get it passed until the false flag demolitions.
This operation compelled foolish congressmen and pastors to lead the charge to go with the devilish plan. The Congress finally passed it in 2001 and flag waving Christians went along with it without so much as investigating the coup. The Bill of Rights has been gutted and Americans are not free without a semblance of privacy. The only true liberty we have left is that which is in Christ Jesus.

We should always remind ourselves of that.
Does that mean that churches should be apathetic though?
This is a frustration of many preachers.
I gave up on political solutions, not because the Devil already won that war, but because so many churches could care less UNLESS Fox News tells them.
Even decent Bible minded successes who got elected were influenced by the bankers and money powers.
However, We have the power to see major biblical changes in our culture influencing it for good in every way. We have God's power available to bless one another individually when able. We can collectively influence the political powers. We can warn others about the medical system that has committed wholesale mass murders of the most innocent victims. I think You and I have done this in our own sphere of influence. Where are the multitudes of pastors to actually protect the flocks? Are they but hirelings? I believe our numbers in America are adequate to make things happen in so many ways.
I'm with you 100% with what you said. When we look long term this is so relevant, but is that eliminating the present needs?
. Except for one dangerous psycho, my family was taken by such a scoundrel. There's no resolution, justice, comfort or provision available except somehow from our Father and the Comforter. Jesus will bring judgement in His own timing. It's all in His hands.
How would you like to never retire and Christians just say, well the Lord will return and you won't need that? I've been through more tragic setbacks in two years than I explained here. Why? Privacy concerns and few would care. The Lord knows though.
I'm trying to keep focused on the Lord and serving those who have it worse than I do. Right now I must also focus on self because nobody considers the needs of the poor servants of the poor.
