Sounds like a joke waiting to happen.

Smaller bribes for corrupt politicos?

If that is what you think?
I was trying to be nice in my speech.
Mar 2:17 When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
That is the difference between a city that has wealth and prosperity and a city that is poor and full of crime. Folks in the rich city don't feel the need like folks in the poor city.

Honesty is always the best policy. That saying might even be biblical. :)

Actually, this member shows a tremendous amount of love but has a low tolerance for spiritual foolishness, as should we all, and is not afraid to tell it like it is.

You are arrogant.

The pastor of the first one is a friend of mine.
The second one I received their nicely done stuff in the mail and went for a visit.
Stayed for a bit and got involved in the homeless outreach program that they had before I moved to another area.
This member is not the least bit arrogant.

You're reading what I said incorrectly. My question is, if Jesus is amongst both gatherings, what does it matter?
What is your motive for comparison? Are you saying the first is better than the second?
You have asked a couple of very interesting questions.

Now your just playing word games.............I'd rather have dinner than play games with you........

EITHER you do not understand the Holy Trinity (explained it to you) OR you deny it and do not want to put that in writing here...............

Enjoy your night
I'm ready to eat dinner too. My honey is busy preparing it now.

See you are a new member........checked your Profile Page.....found this.........

When saved born a christian. have remained a christian

This may be part of the problem with your understanding............. One CAN NOT be "born a Christian."
Becoming a Christian (believer in and follower of Christ) requires one to be called by the Holy Spirit, repent and accept Christ as Lord and Savior of their lives.............. A new born child can NOT POSSIBLY accomplish this act of repentance............

You seriously need to stop telling other people what they believe and then what their problem is.
Normal healthy people ask others questions about what they believe they don't tell them.
Normally you want to know what someone believes, you want to understand them so that you can communicate.

Ease up, your doctrines and understanding are not infallible, your not God.
If you keep going like this you may find yourself fighting against God.
I don't think you would want that.

One rule they had was if you wanted to be a part you had to move there and live near by everyone else
This is a cult. Definitely not interested in that one.

It even had different locations targeted to people in different stages of life.
does this mean that as I moved from different stages of my life, I would have to go from church to church? Is it like a school where I go from one grade to the next? But what if I was comfortable and happy at just one location, would I still be required to shift to another location?

I don't think i would be interested in being apart of that one either.

I know a pastor of a church that was started in an abandoned pub in a seedy area of a not so lovely city.
One rule they had was if you wanted to be a part you had to move there and live near by everyone else.
You might think that would work against the growth of the Church.
But it grew like wildfire and transformed the entire community.
With God adding to their number and healings testifying to the work of the Spirit.

I know another church that had a great advertising campaign which was a large part of its budget.
Had a nice professional service and good music and lots of people being nice and saying hi and giving you coffee an doughnuts
An up beat and encouraging message from the word of God.
It was providing services and outreaches to the community to families and singles.
It even had different locations targeted to people in different stages of life.
You could see it was really well thought out and it also grew and people learned about God.

So what is the difference?
Which one would you want to be a part of?
I've been thinking about this a lot.

What is the difference...
I think both churches are meeting people where they are at... both are growing, people are deepening their relationships with God and others... of course, pray about it and go where God leads... He could have things to teach me, and people to know/serve either place.

HowEver... I think that as the church..the Bride of Christ, we are called to meet people where They are at. The ones who don't know Him yet. Like Jesus did. So I think that possibly could be the difference between the two. Maaaayyybee?

Which one would I like to be a part of?
Well, my comfortable self likes the idea of not having to uproot myself, because I REALLY like where I live right now, whaaa. Being a part of a church that well, meets me? but also I could serve at and still reach my community where I am comfortable, sounds great.

BUT, the part of me that is desiring to BE the church, is like YAY!! Let's jump in, befriend on a true knowing basis, really let God do some crazy amazing stuff in the lives of people who so desperately need Him! A transformed community??? FOR SURE, I so want to be a part of that! Well, if I could like quit my job and not have to pay a mortgage, lol.
