As a general statement i would say that : Trump will figure it out. He usually does.
A discussion about this topic though it's usually a long one which involves principles such as free market, the reality of the situation which doesn't match the free market (as we saw in the financial bailout of 2008) and the potential to helping your own citizens to get the best healthcare for a low price or even 'free' since we know that USA has so much money (as recently shown by DOGE) to spend on useless projects worldwide, which could be spent here at home to improve the infrastructure, health and education.

1. large-scale troop deployments to a border region, -- We saw this prior to Russia invading Ukraine. We see this now with the US deploying more troops and assets to the Middle East.
2. increased military activity in the area, -- We see this in the Taiwan straight, we see this in Eastern Europe, Russia and Ukraine, we see this in the Middle East.
3. suspicious financial activity, -- We see this with the price of gold spiking.
4. a surge in stockpiling essential supplies, -- We have seen this with multiple times the government has said certain food was not able to be sold. Much of that was seized by the government.

Maybe you can help me out. The drug companies do the research and foot the bill......Risk and reward type of thing.
But it is such a rabbit hole anymore with the government involved.

Funny story, in 1992 the government passed a law that banks needed to make a larger percent of their loans to pay for housing for the poor. We call these "subprime mortgages" meaning the people have poor credit. Well in 1994 the banks figured out they could do this by selling "mortgage swaps". The idea is that if you package a thousand of these mortgages together you reduce the risk to the investor of any one of them going bust. Then they created this pipeline where the banks could write the mortgage and then sell it to an investment bank which could then sell it to a pension fund. In this way the bank didn't need to worry about the loan going bust.
Well once the bank was no longer worried about the loan going bust they got very liberal on loan applications. They even wrote "no income no job approved" loans. They were doing this because of the new law. But they were not stupid, they knew the loans would go bust, so what they did was create balloon mortgages. Maybe you pay 2k a month for the first sixty months and then the mortgage doubles to 4k a month. At that point they can't pay, you foreclose, but only after you got 120k from the suckers.
Yep, that law in 1992 led to the Subprime mortgage crisis in 2008.
But don't worry, I know what you are thinking, what happens to those poor stock brokers on Wall Street when this goes bust? No problem, you see a study was done after 911 that fully exposed how the US government could have spotted the terrorists beforehand and would have spotted them had they not canceled a certain program at the NSA designed to do just that one year earlier. They knew enough about 911 and the governments involvement to guarantee that no one would go to prison. You think I must be joking, a crime this big, no doubt thousands went to jail. But no, they were right, it was the taxpayers who bailed them out and even paid those wall street brokers big fat bonuses.

Has the Donald actually made any real deals with any country except the trivial deal he made with Great Britain? He keeps spouting that he made deals with 200 countries (more countries than there are in the world by the way), some of which are only inhabited by penguins. Who are these other countries lining up to make deals? If he's already made deals with more countries than there are in the world, why would they still be lining up? If you can't dazzle with brilliance, baffle with BS I guess.

You obviously were not very good at math in school. It is perfectly acceptable to refer to 195 as 200. You can't say it is 201, but if you are simply speaking in hundreds it is much closer to 200 than 100.
