The tariffs serve a purpose as a solution to a problem. The left I will give credit to they are good at pointing out a problem it is a strength of theirs.
During the first presidential run of Trump vs Clinton. On the debate stage Hillary made the comment that Trump paid no taxes. He fired back as she was in Congress as a Senator, why didn't she do something about it. He then went on to say that was not going to happen because donors would be affected.
Trump is mocked for going into bankruptcy. Thing is all is us to a person can say that the greatest change in our lives is when a catalyst made us have to change. Bankruptcy is nothing more than a deficit that has come to fruition and now you have to pay the price for your foolishness and your pride. Pride because in your heart you believe you are above the rules of money.
You are convinced in your own wisdom to the point that no matter how deep of a hole you dig you can get out of it. That plagues our country and is a haughtiness we have to address.
So make fun of Trump having filed for bankruptcy but from personal experience he is all to aware of how a deficit makes you a slave. As wisdom has spoken the truth and said that the borrower is servant to the lender.
So how do the tariffs fit in as the temporary fix. I believe they are temporary as down the road they will have a price to pay as well. For now they serve as that tax on the wealthy that the left has called for.
It's is simple math if before the tariffs you paid a dollar for an item and the tariff is 15%. If the cost is being passed on to you then the new cost should be a $1.15. We are not seeing that in the price of imported goods. Some is being passed on and the left has done it's job and pointed that out. However, there are measures that can be taken to resolve that issue. For the sake of brevity I wont get into that.
The tariffs have also shrunk the deficit by taxing the rich. Money that has been used to pay cash up front for the needy. The tariffs were just used to make sure that the vulnerable amongst us got their needs met. It was the tariffs that paid for WIC so that mothers and infants could have their need met. They serve a purpose for now and if anyone should be happy about them it is the left as the rich are being taxed.
We also have a problem with inflation right now and that is being used as the narrative for the tariffs. If you paid one dollar before and your new price is $1.03. Inflation is at 3% and tariffs at 15%. Which do you think is the additional cost?
You wanted the rich taxed and now you let your party speak for their donors and try and removing this tax on them and you swallow it. As even though you like the message you hate the messenger that is carrying your message.

As for tariffs, they accomplished nothing but making the American consumer have to pay more for everything.
Money laundry requires a cash business, there is no better cash business than gambling. They want to mix in their dirty money with the legit money. The only way to audit this is for the IRS to put undercover agents to observe the casino, calculate how many people are there and how much business they might do and compare that with how much business they report they did. It is very hard word to catch this.
However, if you are wiretapping phones it will be much easier.
Anyone can go bankrupt, but it takes a special kind of businessman to bankrupt a casino, lol.

What do I mean by questioning who is actually running the country??? I thought it was pretty clear .. who do you think runs this country? Sure they say it's the people right?? That be the wrong answer... It's the rich elites .. think about who is gaining out of the taxes and prices being raised... Sure aren't the low income people or the poor people in this country. Ask yourself if you stopped voting and took the ballet would measures go through?? If you stopped paying taxes would you have money in your bank? If u didn't support big companies would they close stores? What do we supply to other countries that benefit us???
