I'm not saying Trump is wrong, I don't have access to all the intelligence he was looking at to make this decision, but what I am saying is that this is clearly a trade war, there were two reasons why China would not invade the US. One is that they held billions of dollars of our debt and the other is that we are their biggest customer. However, China has dumped our debt and with these tariffs the US is no longer a customer of China at all.
I would also add that China's response gave direction to the BRICS nations. So yes, they can call Trump to negotiate, but instead of buying US debt they can promise to buy the debt over the next few months. China has given a very strong signal, which Trump has confirmed, that they are now at war with the US.

One thing he is not seeing is that with 3d printers, AI and robots the US can now completely replace china's cheap manufacturing. What Trump is doing is pulling the bandaid off quickly. No doubt many companies have considered moving their manufacturing to the US but they need a push, change is hard.

If one wants to dig around a bit there are pics of Hillary Clinton and a self proclaimed witch trying to channel some dead person. She was, at one time anyway, into the occult. The evil can be seen in her at times. Pelosi as well.
CNN is reporting from the Whitehouse that they are demanding an additional 50% tariff on anything from China. What I don't get is why is CNN demanding a 50% tariff? (credit for this joke should go to Police Squad)
It's a good thing i don't have stocks, have no clue about stocks and i'm not interested to learn anything about stocks.
I was taught to deal with things that are real in relation to money, not numbers on a computer.
Maybe by some miracle we might even leave the whole FIAT model of currency and go back to gold-based backing of the currency.
Anyway, things are good for me and everyone around me, despite job layoffs where half of the useless people are gone and i've always been grateful for everything.
