The tares and the wheat will grow together until harvest, and we all must wear well to the end.
He having given us Dominion in Chapter 1 obligated Himself to limit Himself to what we invite Him into, problems down here are not from His end.
More that ever praying without ceasing, preferably as the Spirit gives utterance, so much you are "stayed on Him" while doing any and all of the duties of life is the best, strongest, fastest, way I know to walk in His power to do His Will. In that He promises to keep us from all harm.
An hour a week of church doesn't reach this goal.

Sadly this is familiar. Jesus was kind whennHe said most would have an outward form of Godliness, denying the power He died to bring.
bles you

Yes. Love of country.

I also notice the daily drumbeat of hatred from supposed Christians, toward this man and the United States. Much of it is just pure jealousy.
Things are better in the U.S. than they have been in years. The lifelong marxists need to consider who they are mad at. Trump or themsevelves for being suckered by the hatefilled liberals/socialists/communists politicians all their lives.

This thread exemplifies exactly what happens when politics becomes a team sport with winners and losers.
The political terrain in the USA is nasty, very nasty and do you notice something about the people who support this leader? :censored:
It's crystal clear.

Agree, but giving up just brings more of the same. God did allow Trump to get in, and God can still clean up this mess. But never give up. What allows evil evil to prosper is when good men do nothing.

Politics as usual is what the reality is. For a few years one party undoes the policies of the other and a few years later the other party wins the election and the same as the other will undo everything the other party has done. No point in getting too excited about today it will as in the past change as soon as tomorrow comes.

I get it, you are a pessimist. But the truth of Revelation is that the kingdoms of this world do become the kingdoms of our God and His Christ.

The world is doing great things, mostly terrible things and, even so, terribly wonderful things. For example, unmanned vehicles is the most recent development. Yet, Christians are advised to 'wait it all out,' like, we're absolutely helpless if it wasn't for the hope of rescue. Why doesn't the world have the slightest concern that there are 'representatives of the kingdom' in its midst? Are we so afraid of being overcome? I'm not saying that I've made any sort of even a minor impact for the Christian 'armed forces' but that I'm struggling to discern what impact we are actually having anywhere.

Although I agree I should still point out that along the way many of those kingdoms will completely vanish(Mayan,Aztec ect. for example). A better example of the U.S. is Babylon in that after the flood man set out to get themselves an name by building a tower. Then fast forward to Revelation 17 or so and Babylon is there again ready to be destroyed. From Babylon to Babylon and as it seems none of those in the U.S. seem to understand one another's speech anymore so they all argue one with the other. As it seems they will leave off building this tower and it will vanish.

Babylon is symbolic in Revelation. Most people are somewhat confused with the book of Revelation.

Exactly, Babylon, confusion. The Lord confused their language and they could no longer understand one another. Everyone claims to understand though and that everyone else does not. Then afterward most people set out to explain as if they can undo the work of God and reverse the confusion in Babylon.

Can you summarize the content of Revelation in one or two sentences?
