What’s all this fuzz? Back in my day we were all brought up to handle guns.
Dont let nobody fool you into being sleazy about the second amendment
Frankly this is the first time I've seen this, don't shoot the messenger lol, just giving a format that ya'll can see it for yourself. What’s all this fuzz? Back in my day we were all brought up to handle guns.

We run a local food bank. And there are MANY Americans who are seriously struggling.
They are just left hanging, while all the compassion is for people who ILLEGALLY come/came here. I don't get it.
Tax paying, hard working struggling Americans are getting thrown under the bus. And many are in their later years and won't complain about a thing.

You American, sir?
Indeed, and it is well noted that Vance was originally a Never Trumper and very crusty RINO-like. Hence why there was a lot of reservation when he was picked as VP. I think this along when he stood up to that barbarian Zelensky attempting to emotionally blackmail and manipulate us that Vance is allaying those reservations about him. He's looking very solidly like the future President as things stand today.
Ain’t gonna.im just wondering where were we made a bad turn
Sure would have pissed me off if I were the POTUS and read a thread where my VP was in an conversation with my cabinet members discussing putting off my orders till next month. I would wonder why my own cabinet members even thought they could get on a Signal chat and have open discussions with him and not just be that open with me. And I would for sure wonder just exactly how a contact number was on a device in one of their possession of a chief editor of a magazine to get clicked and dragged into the thread in the first place.
Nah that's not really that unthinkable, Trump has cultivated the 2nd Broad Coalition in such a way as this. Despite the Trump As Dictatoor RP thinkers Trump this time around not only won bigger in the elections, but its the genius of the Successors that he has selected a team that is younger and of more influence rather than just toadies, people with their own talent and star power at that. Besides just cultivating a talented Cabinet and broader ideologically, Trump also has allowed them alot of freedom and opportunity to develop themselves and their departments. Trump serves more like the coach of a football team than a dictator ruling by fiat and force. Vance performs well and earns praise from Trump rightly, he's proving most solid really and taking alot of initiative and stepping up to the bat. Perhaps people are just used to the weakness of the Vice Presidents of the recent past that do little to nothing like Kamala Harris and in fairness Pence too was pretty weak and toadlike. Vance is a very active VP already he has been involved in most all the major issues and events of the early administration.
Just highlighting a few things.
Trump is beyond not stupid, and the near bullet IMO got him thinking with a bit more humility and more of a legacy that carries on after him. For me it's actually a pleasure listening to him talk more like a boss now and not defending himself as a full-time job and tweeting like a kid.
Watching the old incompetent and criminal structure being torn down is also a pleasure. Again, IMO, I think we'll see more and more get figured out especially under the old adage of follow the money, a.k.a. DOGE. And who wouldn't want to walk into a gov't agency and be met with courteous and respectful employees who know they ultimately work for us and need to be competent at their jobs while also expecting us to be respectful to them?
If the boss truly wants more people to thrive, then we finally have a businessman at the helm of the corp who may be able to steer a team to get it done. My prayers are for him and not against him, which IMO means they are for all of us. We simply don't need any more nightmares like one of the ones getting some attention now as a mind-numbing potential for the opposite party.
I agree and I think also consider we've only barely cleared 2 months and seen much blessings, then consider where we were for the last four years, and the night has been banished by the dawn, it's not even yet high noon, praise Jesus. I believe we haven't even hit our stride yet but that we certainly will and when we do there will be even greater blessings, praise Jesus.

Actually I was agreeing with your comment that Vance was contending for POTUS. I was pointing out the way the other members of the cabinet view and trust Vance when they speak to one another in on a platform(Signal) that is deleted 7 days to 4 weeks after entering the post to keep anyone from ever finding it. It's the same as other's in that if your not invited into the group you can't see it. Trump said he had not seen it a few hours after it broke in the news. To me if I was Trump I would bring them all in the Oval Office and say Hey you don't think you can say this to me but you say it to one another on a private group chat?
Vance (08:16am ET):
- Team, I am out for the day doing an economic event in Michigan. But I think we are making a mistake.
- Three percent of US trade runs through the suez. 40 percent of European trade does. There is a real risk that the public doesn’t understand this or why it’s necessary.
- The strongest reason to do this is, as POTUS said, to send a message. I am not sure the president is aware how inconsistent this is with his message on Europe right now. There’s a further risk that we see a moderate to severe spike in oil prices.
- I am willing to support the consensus of the team and keep these concerns to myself. But there is a strong argument for delaying this a month, doing the messaging work on why this matters, seeing where the economy is, etc.
Joe Kent – Gabbard chief of staff (08:22am ET):
Ratcliffe (08:26am ET):
- There is nothing time sensitive driving the time line. We’ll have the exact same options in a month.
- The Israelis will likely take strikes and therefore ask us for more to replenish whatever they use against the Houthis.
- But that’s a minor factor. I will send you the unclass data we pulled on BAM shipping.
- From CIA perspective, we are mobilizing assets to support now but a delay would not negatively impact us and additional time would be used to identify better starting points for coverage on Houthi leadership.
Hegseth (08:27am ET):
- VP (Vance): I understand your concerns – and fully support you raising w/ POTUS.
- Important considerations, most of which are tough to know how they play out (economy, Ukraine peace, Gaza, etc).
- I think messaging is going to be tough no matter what – nobody knows who the Houthis are – which is why we would need to stay focused on: 1) Biden failed & 2) Iran funded. Waiting a few weeks or a month does not fundamentally change the calculus.
- Two immediate risks on waiting: 1) this leaks, and we look indecisive; 2) Israel takes an action first – or Gaza cease fire falls apart – and we don’t get to start this on our own terms. We can manage both.We are prepared to execute, and if I had final go or no go vote, I believe we should.
- This [is] not about the Houthis. I see it as two things: 1) Restoring Freedom of Navigation, a core national interest; and 2) Reestablish deterrence, which Biden cratered.
- But, we can easily pause. And if we do, I will do all we can to enforce 100 percent OPSEC. I welcome other thoughts.
What I mean is I don't think Trump will be angry nor would I be angry with Vance if I were in his shoes like you propose. Vance proves to be actually the most in line really with Trump and my own thinking, that is a good sign instead for him. Trump has already given Vance much room to cook and lead and in this view actually Vances comments and actions are meritorious to him rather. This then bears out with Trump's comments earlier posted about Vance echoing indeed really the issue to get tough on Europe and treat them just like any other race or nation in this world and equalize things. For that matter by the contents I actually like Hegseth too and think he's vindicated to a degree, but since he is a big target for the dems I think politicallywise he'll kinda suffer some favor-loss for the scandal. I think the left should take advantage of it too, it is kinda low and scummy, but it's better than them burning down Teslas. Who knows maybe Trump will not fire Hegseth but do a probe or investigation in him and DoD led by none other than their beloved Elon Musk.
