I don’t really get why people are so hung up about left and right. It’s going from one ditch to the other relentlessly. It’s like when my mom is driving. Right lane, left lane until she’s pulled over and then sent right back out driving because no cop wants to book that sweet old lady who barely knows how to speak English.

Right now Trump is our best option. I don’t like him much, but it’s really not about what I like. He’s doing better than I expected, and I’m terrified of the VP, so I hope Trump stays in office throughout his term.

There’s somewhat a difference between micro politics and macro politics. Trump’s got a lot to be criticized for on the micro level. Maybe he should even be facing criminal charges. What do I know.

Given the international circumstances as of now we have to prioritize pretty strongly. Russia, China, Iran and a couple of other countries do not respect treaties or what we would consider moral norms or common sense. Trump is slowly getting the point. Vance and Hegseth will maybe not, so now, at this point of time, we have to, even though the taste of it is not the same as strawberry wine, not be condemning Trump for everything he is doing.
