Yes, people can say things by mistake, perhaps they can say things and not realize how they will be interpreted. So Matthew 18 says if we are offended tell the person your offense, if they refuse to listen to you as JTB has done with me, then take two or three others, if they still refuse to listen which JTB has in his responses to others, then tell it to the forum which is what I have done.apparently, 'if' really is the biggest little word
If this had been a mistake or a misunderstanding he would have cleared it up, but it isn't, he is intentionally slandering not just Trump but the 75 million people who voted for him. He is saying that Trump and his cronies are running an evil heretical cult. He has already said that people are worshipping him, etc. I have given him 2 admonishings, he has refused to listen to me, he has refused to listen to others, and his words are trying to divide this country in half and divide the body of believers in half. Therefore from this point on I will treat him as a publican, someone not with a Christian motive but with a political agenda.
There are several on here that say the same thing and others that make blanket statements that can't be backed up. These people are sent here to try and disrupt the forums and sway weak minds. I personally have no interest in arguing with them and prefer to shake the dust off my shoes and move on.

I certainly believe in doing so, but this is not a church and we don't answer to anyone except a mod if we cross the line
That being said, this is still supposed to be a gathering of believers, if on a forum, and there should be at least a prick of the conscience from time to time and not just a mentality that seems to suggest we are not accountable on this online platform.
I think you have expressed your concerns and I agree that claims should be substantiated especially when they are of the alarming nature that has been posted.
We each must answer for our words and probably long after we have said them, because they are not spoken into a void and there is that audience we are told is watching, so we forget the unseen world and the spirit realm but they operate whether or not we are aware and we do create an atmosphere and it can be felt even in this forum.
It really is a sad situation when we know others come here and read and you have to wonder the impressions we cause and that we are supposed to be a witness for the Lord we say we believe in. I use humor as a foil when an outrageous post is created at times or I ignore the ones who just want to argue and it didn't use to be that way. I would respond because of all of the above but again, this is a forum and just because we believe it to be Christian, that does not mean all who post here are such, even if they quote Bible verses from the beginning of the day to the end of the day.
But God knows those who are His and ultimately that is Who we answer to.
So maybe just let it go at this point. You can treat him as you wish but I doubt he cares.

Well I just read Handyman's post and he is saying what I posted. that might mean something. and what is that?
And I said not all here are Christians even if they quote scripture all day long. So, perhaps there is the answer right there. When someone just will not quit and says outrageous things (and oh boy have I experienced that lately around here in the last thread I created), they are not following the way of peace with all men to put it mildly
Interestingly, 2 of those people are now banned because they acted that way in every thread they appeared in.
But yes, people should not make false claims but they make false claims even about the Bible and interpret bizarre things.
It's like that and we can only conduct ourselves but I have no problem in calling out these things and in fact, we should do so and mark the response. And then for our own peace of mind if nothing else, pray and leave it alone.

Lets see from what I know Satan does not ever go around saying Jesus Christ is lord.. believes in Him and only bows to Him. So.. yeah can't see the Antichrist doing that and the fact president Trump is married. Hes coming as someone with all the answers... wait for the WORLD. President Trump is about America first. Again the married part. Satan hates everything God has made and women? How was Christ born? Islam (Iran,Iraq, SA) should be a good example of that.

Something like the above, is like the devil throwing your sin in your face every time you try to do something good. He did what he did so get over it.
Along that line of thought though, how about Biden's son? for that matter, how about Biden and all the women he has handled and his own daughter portraying her father as basically molesting her?
I won't give credit to any man who manages to pull this country out of the black hole it is disappearing into

Spot on dude. Really. Only Trump is not and never said he was a prophet. Nor does he nor has he said he could, give great signs and wonders.
Actually the Bible does not say the elect are or will be deceived.
For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will give great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.

How is that post irrational? There are many "never Trumpers". They have questioned many people who voted for Biden and they said they were "voting against Trump". When asking those who support Biden what it is they liked about him they had nothing to say.
I've seen other random interviews on the streets where they read quotes presumably by Trump and they all express their outrage only to later learn that those quotes were from Biden.
I've seen similar interviews where they compare Biden's accomplishments with Trump's. At first they switch the names and people are all in agreement with what they think is Biden and completely against what they think is Trump only to then learn that the names were switched.
Perhaps it doesn't apply to you, so tell us what it is that you like about Biden's accomplishments and explain how you deal with his more hideous quotes, actions and friends. You can start with his claim that the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation when he knew full well it was true, also talk about his daughters claim that when she was 11 she took showers with him and she thinks that is what has messed her up for life, and then move on to the racists laws he passed, his friendship with KKK members, and the more racist things he has said.

Many years ago my wife and I went for cognitive testing. Multiple tests over several days including an IQ test.
I tested out at the 85% level. Meaning only 15% of people assimilate information better than I do.
So until you show me YOUR cognitive level, via actual testing, I would suggest you quit assuming things you don't know and lissen up.
