Good ol' Tulsa, OK. One of the most God-saturated cities in the US and also one of the most lawless.

Socreta I don’t see you make a lot of posts here. Maybe as a senior member you’re bored at this forum but what is the point of this video which is just another average day in the human world?

Are you trying to highlight:

1. Bad police training and thug cops?
2. A gun and violence problem in USA?
3. Violent and hopeless people?
4. Something else?

Noticed how the killer never asked ONCE about the victim if he's okay or not? Or how this going to hurt they're mother. It's always about herself, how she's ruined her own life.

Also, the poor brother died later on that night....

I have a younger brother whom I adore. When I turned six, we celebrated my birthday. Right after that, my mom went to the hospital (this was at a time when you can go to the hospital before your expected date). And then three days later my brother was born! I always adored him! And when I got saved, I felt like he was a present from God to me. :giggle:

So this story is especially upsetting to me. I mean she killed him WHILE HE WAS ASLEEP.

She's twelve and there was evidence in the video that she cuts herself before. She'll probably just end up in a psych ward and then let out later. I just hope she doesn't kill again.

I was taken by how quick she was to confess, to say where the knife was and also the many repetitions of how confused she was at why she did it. That is what really hit me, it seemed like she was simply possessed and had no forethought, no plan, just spur of the moment.

I saw another video about an 8 year old boy who killed 3 kids in India. He also was completely honest about it, confessed immediately when asked, and led people to the bodies and explained how he did it.

It is like something is missing from their brain.

I only watched the beginning, but now that you explained it, it brings back memories.
I was probably 8 at the time some big kid shows up at the door. It was one of the sons abandoned by Mom's second husband. His ex dropped him off without notice and said that she can't handle his behavior any more. From the beginning he had a violent temper. The way that his dad told me to deal with the violence was to defend myself when his son attacked. I expected him to control his son, but he wouldn't so much as speak a stern word to him. It was already an unstable environment before the kid started running the family and threatening to do away with his imaginary rival.... me.
I asked his adult father what his son might do to me and if he might beat me with a bat or knife me in my sleep? Like, are there any boundaries or anything off limits??
I was told that he didn't know what his boy might do and that was possible.
Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep and when I did, I slept light.

I watched part of the Christian documentary on psychopaths/ reprobates and was also reminded of his Dad who later nearly blew my head off with a 12 gauge shotgun.

There are a lot of children that had a far worse childhood than I. It no longer bothers me, but I don't want to have experienced that and other things without learning from those experiences and letting God turn them into blessings for others.

My own father was extremely good, and was a victim of circumstances. He would have petitioned the court for full custody had he known any of that. It just reminds me that God hates divorce.

My heart goes out to that family.

I'm sorry this happened to you! So what happened to your stepbrother(?) and his Dad? Glad that you have the Lord in your life to heal whatever they've done to you.

The man's son missed his old friends or whatever and eventually decided to go back to his mom and brothers. After a couple of failed attempts at my life, mom's second and last husband abandoned yet another child he had with her, for another woman. I was glad to see him go. He wouldn't so much as send a card his entire life to his new son until my brother got married. Then he succeeded in inserting a wedge trying to turn my brother against me. The guy was definitely a reprobate, as the Bible calls them. Anyhow that was the mild stuff. It's all in the past, although I've thought about writing a book with his real name.

It's a news forum, I'm sharing news. With that said it maybe show a blunt reality of how anyone of any age can do despicable things plus any person that studies psychology can analyze the way she is reacting and what she is saying.

The way she was screaming, she knew she did something 'wrong'. It seems like she was processed and aware of what was happening but couldn't control herself to stop it.

I don't know about rules for autobiographies - is it okay to use their real name without permission? If not, is it okay to describe the person so well that people who know you will know who you're talking about? It would be a good read especially in light of how God took care of you! :giggle:

I watched the whole thing. She kept crying and saying that she'll go to jail for the rest of her life, she's ruined her etc. etc., not once ever wondering if her own brother was going to make. She seemed pretty convinced that she inflicted enough harm to him that he was definitely going to die, if not already dead.

But at one point, the cop trying to calm her down says, "You're not going to jail. You have to be 13 to go to jail." and her entire tone changed! Boom, for a moment she was happy! But then she realized her slip and sounded sad again.

Unless the court changes its mind, she'll go to juvie. I hope they do. I'm really upset that she had not shown any regret, concern or wonder at his status.

I feel really bad for the mother. She sounds completely astounded and devastated. I don't think she's a bad mom - maybe just things are over her head. That can happen as a single parent.
