Does anyone else get tremors? Where your body feels like it's shaking, either your legs or sometimes your organs, heart?

I think this side effect stems from a prescription drug I take, called Vraylar.

Does anyone here have any info on what they did to stop the tremors?

I've been taking propranolol for it, but it only goes away for maybe a few hours and comes back.

I may have to make ANOTHER appointment with my nurse practitioner.

Involuntary tremors are a common side effect of anti-psychotics (your doctor should have informed you of this).

For some medications they will dissipate if you stop the medication, for others they are permanent.

For the record, I am not suggesting that you stop taking your medication since the withdrawal symptoms from stopping anti-psychotic medications cold turkey can be catastrophic .

Thanks for letting me know @Oncefallen

I'm really hoping it's reversible.

I guess this just turned into a prayer thread lol

I'll make an appointment with my nurse practitioner ASAP

i found;
Vraylar side effects

Common Vraylar side effects may include sleepiness, nausea, vomiting, indigestion, constipation, feeling tired, trouble sleeping, increased appetite, dizziness, involuntary muscle movements, feeling restless, upset stomach, difficulty moving, or slow movements.

please talk to your doctor or pharmacist, perhaps dosages could be adjusted.

Thank you @vassal , my appointment is in 4 hours.
I’ll be sure to bring this up.

Update: my new nurse practitioner is taking me off of 4 mental health prescriptions. She diagnosed me as someone with ptsd, which makes more sense than the other diagnoses I’ve had in the past.

So pretty soon I’ll be taking one mental health med and two as needed mental health meds….along with a blood pressure and cholesterol med

Most definitely. I saw two therapists today actually. One is my regular therapist and one, I was recommended I see but she wasn’t a good fit because she wasn’t a trauma therapist but we did talk and she thinks that I more so suffer from anxiety rather than PTSD because I don’t have any PTSD symptoms, such as flashbacks.

The truth will be revealed eventually.

God bless you in your journey Sean and keep God in your heart and mind during your walk while others do their jobs and while He gives you more wisdom.

Thanks for the kind reply @Eli1
I've learned quite a bit in this almost 16-year journey. Just seems like one super long healing process, but I can't wait for what God has in store for me and anyone who may benefit from this ongoing testimonial.
God is real, God is good, and surprisingly, I find myself crying way more often because of how good He is.
I have no idea sometimes how I am able to continue doing what I'm doing, but He allows me to.
God bless you @Eli1
