Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Eph 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand

Has the church become more rationalize and secular in its way of thinking?
As we all see the news unfold with these protest and assassination attempts, murders and violence escalating daily we find more and more it points to a mental health crisis. But really is it?
The occultic practices and spiritual enlightenment pursuits are on the rise and the word of God is now considered evil.
And yet very few call it for what it is. Demonic possession, obsession.
The truth is that demonic activities and possession are real but yet very few will voice this. Why?
Are we afraid of being called fanatics? To be labeled as mentality challenged ourselves? Or do we consider the opposition to great?
Has the church become to suttle?
Seeing the Islamic ideology spreading across the nations and seemingly destroying moral and Christian values imposing a false ideology should concern us all but yet few voices are heard. Why?
Has the church become to secular in there understandings. Are we to allow this to happen to just sit and wait untill the king arrives?

When Constantine created the RCC they focused on oppressing the people and telling them they had to jump through religious hoops to achieve salvation, from then on people arrived at what they thought was salvation and rested there. Jesus commands were to heal, cleanse, raise, etc., and take and hold until He returns and finds us at work for the Kingdom.

You may be right. What's the solution?

You maybe right in your history but I find it as a excuse for the church.
For the church to be Complacent in matters such as this is not our calling wouldn't you agree?

Well I was hoping to find some input on this not just support on a viewpoint.

If I understand you're contention, you think Christ's body has become too rational and secular and doesn't know how to combat demonic powers; the result is rampant demonic activity. Do I at least have that much right?

The "church" is the body of believers, not a man made institution, that is the damage that was done, your post indicates you are looking for an institution to do the work Jesus told believers to do. We pretty much all were brought up with that understanding. When we each seek His direction and walk it out we will be doing His Will for the Kingdom.

We are called to live up to the standard that God has revealed to us.

"For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith."

For me, this meant leaving Behavioral Health after 23 years with no prospect. I even let my license and certifications lapse.

But I cannot thrust that standard of faith onto others. I left when I was ready and when the Lord clearly told me I was done. Had someone tried to move me out before my time I would have rejected their direction.

The Spirit has been calling to His people for years now, saying to them "Come out of her, my people" where "her" is the religious system of the world in all its forms. If YOU hear the call then obey. Some will follow later, others are comfortable where they are and will remain as long as their 401K is intact and their bills are paid, their kids are okay, etc. My point in this: God is not working to reform the current church system because the system has no identity in Christ.. no Spirit. Only living things have His spirit. True reform simply turns the hearts of men toward God. Sometimes, we are required to leave our homeland, the land of our family, to follow God's word to us.

Jesus made himself very visible to the people around him. Often times publicly rebuking that which was not the word of God.
To the point even demonstrating his dismay in the temple.
Some chose not to believe but there are others who have no knowledge of the true and living God becoming a victim of false teachers and doctrine. Should we as ambassadors of Christ allow this to happen? Are we to just let this play out and pray Gods will be done?
Has fear silenced our voice? Do we tend to stack our concerns on Christ shoulders to deal with matters?
To my understanding which may be in error God enables us we do not enable God. I think the call for the church has been long over do.
We are the care takers until Christ return wouldn't you agree? Gods word does weigh in on matters of this world.

Paul, as an ambassador of Christ, called the people to be “reconciled to God”. He also lived as one so reconciled. Certainly, go where you are sent but remember God is not sending people to reform the institution. The institution will remain as the Lord’s people within her are called out of her.

The best we can do today is warn the people of the coming evil & preach repentance. We are the watchman on the wall. Get busy blowing the trumpet.
