I've seen different churches handle end-of-service time different ways, so I thought I might start a poll. Does your church have a definite time when y'all are supposed to get out? If it does, how strict is it? What happens if they run into overtime? What might be legitimate grounds for extending service time? Baptism? Missionary?
Also, if you do have a set time to get out on Sunday morning, do you also have a set time for Sunday night/Wednesday night/whatever other services? Or is it ONLY Sunday morning service that has a set end-point?
Our church is Pentecostal and we get out whenever we get out. We aren't too concerned with beating the Baptists to the restaurant - it's a small town, there will still be tables for us when we get there.
