Wouldn't it be easier knowing that Jesus died on the 14th of Nisan to then count from there?
The dual sabbath was based on the particular day the Passover fell on in that particular year.

Yes the accounting of days has the day end at sundown.

Scholars cannot even agree on what year we're talking about. Traditionally it is 33 AD, but that doesn't work for a double Sabbath.

yes The only way for a double Sabbath to work is passover on a wednesday,
and the combined gospel shows it had to be on this day, the only sign
Christ gave this evil generation.

the decree in 457BC brings us to 27AD for the beginning of the ministry of Christ,
the first 3-1/2 years exactly as the prophecy in Dan 9 predicts.

There will be 7 weeks plus 62 weeks = 69 weeks.
That is 483 years (Num 14:34 and Ezek 4:6).

decree: 457BC + 483 years = 27AD.
Christ's formal, 3-1/2 year ministry began in 27AD


culminating in His crucifixion on passover in [31AD.]

They did not... figure from evening to morning as a 'day'. They figured from dawn to sunset as a 'day', so yes, that was a correction as this one is too.

And GOD was never talking about an outward circumcision made upon the flesh by the hand of a man. HE was talking about the TRUE CORCUMCISION, that cut to the heart/knee buckling revelation of the TRUTH by the NEW COVENANT through faith in CHRIST

For one has truly been baptized into His death and risen again (born again) by HIS LIFE-GIVING SPIRIT a NEW CREATION in CHRIST

Go back to Genesis to understand what GOD signified as a "day"

And remember CHRIST Aalsi signified "a day" when HE told HIS DISCIPLES to walk while they have THE LIGHT
