Oh I love them too.
I enjoy good ones....been a minute since I seen a good one.

I loved the original Halloween.
And who could forget Friday 13th?

Jason and Michael always have rocked!

Wish that someone could find that original formula for making movies again.
Freddie was always a joke.
I'm so elated that I'm not alone! I also always thought Freddie was a joke.

I am fond of the original Halloween and the second one.

I always enjoyed Friday the 13th. I personally thought the remake was terrible. I put in for a day off work just to see the remake the first day it came out. The theater was so packed they had to turn people away, but some wouldn't leave and opted to sit on the floor. Unfortunately, it didn't deliver like the original and I ended up thinking I'd been better off having gone to work lol.

These movies seem to have lost the nice creepy atmosphere they used to have. I've watched a few newer horrors and they just don't have the same appeal (imo).

Jamie Lee Curtis was an icon....she could actually act.
Of course directors could direct a well written play then too.

Freddie was always a joke.
While I'm not the biggest fan of the Nightmare on Elm Street films, I wouldn't go so far as to call Freddy a joke.

He may not be as appealing as Michael or Jason, but he's not without his charm. And I enjoy how creative he can be in how he disposes of people.

Just my opinion. ;)

We didn’t celebrate this year, but my 11 year of, son walked around the neighborhood snd went through this haunted house one of our neighbors set up must’ve spent a couple grand on the decorations. I’m guessing.. I’m not kidding as I walk through the house and seeing all the imagery…. Like my soul felt off deep down inside….

As far as for haunted houses, it was really nice… as I walked away, I had a quickly pray out loud for deliverance from any spirits that might’ve been lingering in the name of Jesus over me and my son…

Most of the time with horror movies, whenever the villain comes back for sequel after sequel, it's bound to be fun in my book. ;)

Okay, now I'll let you guys get back to discussing whether Halloween is evil or not. ✌️

This year was fun again....around 300 children came by for candy....big pot of nice Chilli I made from scratch and a bunch of hot dogs. All the trimmings. About 30+ family members showed up too. Lots of fun seeing all the costumes.

Oh...
One other thing I noticed.

Due to kids today having lots of access to candy in various forms....they REALLY liked the glow sticks and little bubbles we put in their bags more than the candy we gave out.
