Just wondering --- do you also check to see if the copyright owner gives permission to freely copy and distribute the PDFs?
I suppose that, in most cases, it would be in the form of a statement included in the PDF? (That would certainly be simple.)
However, it might be a statement on the copyright owner's web site - along with the PDF? (That would still make it valid.)
This is a curious question and not a challenge of any kind. (You know that I am the curious type, and like to know things.)
I know nothing about what may have happened concerning JohnPost1 - and, am not seeking to find out.
