Sorry, Scribe, but I accidently hit Post Reply, and it timed out before I knew it. That above quote is the most famous quote, where people think JESUS used the word CHURCH. But HE NEVER used the WORD CHURCH. That meaning was ADDED to the definition about 200 AD.

Here is what HE SAID, and I found a TRANSLATION that STILL USES the ORIGINAL WORD.

There is the Word ekklêsia and what the word meant at the time that JESUS spoke it.

SOME people want to say JESUS REPLACED the Jewish Believers with the CHURCH, and HE DID NOT.

Mal. 3:6 tells us that GOD DOES NOT CHANGE, and they expect us to believe that GOD DOES CHANGE, and they expect us to believe THAT true believes of Judaism, are Saved the SAME WAY AS US. NOT! Here is where HE is talking to people of the last of the Old Testament Fold, telling them HE has other Sheep not of this Fold, referring to the New Testament Fold.

Now if you remember the Birthday of the N.T. FOLD, is not until the feast of Pentecost AFTER HIS ASSENTION. CHURCH was what mankind wanted to call the N.W. Fold, probably because they wanted to distance themselves from the JEWS. IT WAS NOT WHAT JESUS CALLED US, so see how much easier in the above Scripture is to understand when YOU LEAVE WHAT JESUS SAID, ALONE, and not Tamper with it.

If only those who are "in Christ" are "Abraham's seed", then what does that make those who call Christ "the great imposter" and "son of a whore"?

THIRD TEMPLE - Has to be built on the site of Solomon's TEMPLE

So how was that Prophecy about the TEMPLE from JESUS, FULFILLED to the LETTER? Contrary to popular belief, Solomon's Temple was not on what the JEWS today call the TEMPLE MOUNT; and there is a lot more to the Story than just the damage done by the ROMAN'S in 70 A.D.


In addition to the Roman destruction of the TEMPLE, the Macabean King Simon, ordered the real TEMPLE MOUNT in what is now called the City of David, but was then at the time of Christ, the original location of Jerusalem; TURNED INTO A ROCK QUARRY. He did that because of what the Romans did in 70 A.D., saying even the Rock base was therefore DEFILED on the original Temple Mount. Macabeans removed several meters of rock and used it to fill in the Valley to the South, making a fairly level road coming in from the South to Jerusalem. That distance from the Southern Wall of Fort Antonia to the TEMPLE is only a difference of about 400 ft. to the south of what is today the city limits of Jerusalem.

The Dome of the Rock is in the CENTER of Fort Antonia.

On the Left is the South Wall in the Southeast corner, that is the property line for Jerusalem, South of that Wall is now the City of David. The silverish domed Mosque would be the Southwest corner of Fort Antonia, in this lower Picture.

See that big tree in the Olive grove left of the silver colored steel dome, it may be the one that is the oldest Olive Trees in Israel. At least I think that is the tree they were talking about. It would be about the Northwest corner of the TEMPLE OUTER WALL. See that turn in the road going to the right towards that big tree. To the left of that intersection is good size building with what looks like a bell tower. THAT BUILDING MAY BE SITTING ON THE ORIGINAL LOCATION OF SOLOMON'S TEMPLE. Somebody has to move the road, however the Palestinians have no claim to land south of that silver dome.

The Archeologists, and one of them is an Israelite, have been seeking an audiance with the Israeli Government, and the Temple Institute, and getting NO RESPONSE. They think it is because they have a very big, bitter pill to swallow, in admitting they have been praying at the WRONG WALL all these years. The Archeologists are convinced they can PROVE the Whaling Wall is actually only part of Fort Antonia.

Please keep reading the Bible to where Jesus disowned it and went from calling it "My house" to "YOUR house is left unto you desolate."

Wait, does that mean our Lord is now without a temple? No way...

When Peter told Jesus that He was the Christ and the Son of the living God, Jesus informed Peter that He is the Rock upon which He is building something. And what was it? "MY CHURCH", against which the gates of hell cannot prevail. The "Temple of God", according to Jesus Himself is now "MY CHURCH".
In Romans 11, Paul merely says the blind Jewish natural branches may individually be grafted back into the Vine - along with the wild ones - on condition that all become "Spiritual Jews" -- which thing you guys refuse to acknowledge, though Paul says only those who are "in Christ" are "Abraham's seed"...though Paul says the New Covenant is only with "the house of Israel" which are those "in Christ"...though Paul refers to the gentile church in Galatia as "the Israel of God", as well as other examples.

The "Temple of God" is now "My Church" and will never be some Earthly building, especially one in which Jewish priests drop a dead lamb on the altar and then turn and stick a middle finger to the heavens and say, "Here's what we think of Your so-called 'Lamb of God', Lord..."

"House" very much includes the temple, for the temple was the foundation upon which rested the entire nation. Jesus pronounced desolation on the entire nation, in which was located the temple mount.

In the Christian spirit of love and with the directive to "expose the unfruitful works of darkness", some of us believe those who think a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem is of prophetic significance operate under an extremely dangerous satanic 16th century Jesuit error -- which was previously unknown to the world until the Protestant Reformation identified the Antichrist from Scripture as the Papacy, and the Papacy was forced to respond with false Jesuit interpretations of Bible prophecy whereby the accusations of the Protestant Reformers might be deflected to the past (Jesuit priest Alcazar's "Jesuit Preterism"), to the future (Jesuit priest Ribera's "Jesuit Futurism" with its rebuilt Jerusalem temple), anywhere but at them.

Adherents of these ideas, we believe, are setting themselves up for a deception so sinister that if it were possible, the very elect would be deceived...and you are essentially asking witnesses to a drowning to stand there with life preservers and do nothing.

People, this thread is about a building, which OT prophets and Paul and even Jesus himself said would be standing when Christ returns,

not about the spiritual temple which everyone here agrees, is not made with hands,

Please keep on topic and in context with the thread

there’s going to be a building built on this earth when Jesus returns ? I must not have ever read that part , I thought there would be no need for a temple anymore after the new Jerusalem came down from heaven

could you suggest any verses I should look at to catch up to the third building he’s making and eill
Be standing at christs return ? Honestly asking you if you could suggest a study to shown me this

I’m thinking along the lines of all those scripture that there is a temple in heaven where Christ is actually seated on the throne that will actually come down from heaven when the veil is lifted and the earth and all is destroyed .

But when it comes down from heaven the new Jerusalem where the temple is , there will no longer be a temple

I guess the point of leaving those scriptures in this thread is that I don’t think there is a third temple that is going to be made by man

God is in his temple in heaven Christ is the temple of God and is seated on the throne in his kingdom .

It seems from your response that you don’t think heaven actually exists can o ask what you meant by “ the spiritual temple “ are you saying the spiritual thkngs aren’t real and the earthly things are ?

it’s quite opposite the things that were on earth in the ot , were a pattern of things that have always been in heaven.

The true things of God . The man made tabernacle , temple , even all the details of the candlesticks in the inner room , the holiest of all those things are a pattern of the true things in heaven

I might be wrong but it seems you are looking at the earthly things and not counting it as the third aspect of God

God is a spirit . No longer would he be worshipped at Jerusalem nor the Temple Mount

they needed a man made temple for avid to dwell in so they could have a relationship of sorts with him , the gospel changed it all . Now we have the Holy Ghost present with us so we can have a real connection and worship God in spirit and truth by our lives reflecting his spirit within us

the whole idea of God hidden inside of a temples inner most room , is Old Testament . The understanding God has stepped out into the open dormall
Mankind to know and fellowship with in order to redeem us from death is New Testament

the main message of the gospel of believes is you receive Gods holy spirit that is one with father and son to live inside of you and lead you as a shepherd through life by belief in his word

Jerusalem is his city but it’s not the one on earth it’s on heaven where Christ is until he returns and destroys all the world including the land of Israel then Jerusalem will come from heaven to earth and all things will be as we are told in revelation 21

no actually I’m offering scripture about Gods true temple in heaven and scripture explaining where his temple is , in my view , and have asked someone to suggest the scripture that will help me understand about the temple you all are talking about

I thought a discussion was two points of view and of course since it’s a biblical forum scripture would be welcome .

but since this is the second time someone has an issue with me posting in this thread , I apologize to you and will drop any further posts in this thread so you can figure out where the temple is going to be built before christs return

I’ll also look into a study of my own to see if there’s any validity to the thought and maybe sometime in the future there will be a different thread about the subject and I’ll know more about the third man made temple

inquiry and scripture was my intent along with what I was thinking the scripture was saying

The OT verses used to support a future rebuilt temple in our day are always verses which already have their fulfillment in the post-Babylonian captivity temple built by Zerubbabel, but since that's all they've got, they have no choice but to appeal to them for Dispensationalist support anyway.

Everyone knows that when New Jerusalem comes down, the Heavenly Temple therein, in which our High Priest Jesus now officiates, will be the next literal, structural "Temple of God" on Earth, not some blasphemous monument to colossal theological error that people in the Middle East are discussing.

Not one verse in Scripture calls for the establishment of a "doctrinal safe space" - to the contrary, it says we are to "earnestly contend for the faith once deliverd to the saints."

The Millennial TEMPLE will be personally built by HIM, but that is the FOURTH TEMPLE.
