Are you in law enforcement?
Not directly, I was more on the psychological end till I followed my true "Calling."
Are you in law enforcement?
You need to prove your point using scripture in its original setting. I haven't seen this yet.
You believe in permanent salvation, correct? So do I. What do you do with Jesus' statements to the seven churches?
. . .
It seems Jesus is saying that these churches must stay faithful, even unto death, to become saved. If they do not, he will "spew them out of his mouth". How does that fit with permanent salvation? Also, the language used in talking to the seven churches is distinctively Jewish. The letters are addressed to the "angel [messenger] of the church at X". There is no such concept for Christian churches. Also, "synagogue," "lampstand," and "candlestick" are used, which are not terms typically used of Christian churches.
Where does this concept of "various church ages" come from?
Thanks, but I think you missed the point. Jesus tells the seven churches in Revelation that they must endure until the end to be saved. That contradicts what we have as Christians, permanent salvation. I never said the lampstands, synagogues, or candlesticks were persons. I know what ekklesia means. Also, you did not mention where you got the idea that the seven churches represent seven church ages. You do not listen very well.
This may be an EXPLANATION that I GAVE TO OTHERS, before you arrived. Neither did the Apostles, not JESUS ever use the word CHURCH. They USED the word ASSEMBLY. The WORD came about long After the people to a liking to the title Christian, where the title was thrust upon them at Antioch, probably as an insult, so soon after that they added to the definition of CHRISTIAN CHURCH. And NEITHER of those two WORDS were EVER SPOKEN BY JESUS. But because the Christians wanted to distance themselves from the O.T. Assembly. I THINK we made a mistake, by using the word Christian and adding the Word ekklêsia the word CHURCH. GOD intended the word for Christian, to be BELIEVER, and the Word for our Congregations to be ASSEMBLY.
QUOTE:
Greek NASB Number: 1577
Greek Word: ἐκκλησία
Transliterated Word: ekklêsia
Root: from 1537 and 2564;
Definition: an assembly, a (religious) congregation:--
New American Standard Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible. END QUOTE.
Jesus speaking to the LAST of the O.T. ASSEMBLY.
Now look at how it changed this VERSE:
John 10:16 (NASB)
16 "I have other sheep {N.T. ASSEMBLY}, which are not of this fold {O.T. ASSEMBLY}; I must bring them also, and they will hear My voice; and they will become one flock {at the Rapture} with one shepherd {Jesus Christ}

That explanation in my last Post:
It is WRITTEN TO SPECIFIC CHURCHES, BUT ALL CHURCHES CAN BENEFIT FROM IT. SO IT DOES APPLY TO YOU AND ME, AND IT DID APPLY TO THE SPECIFIC CHURCH THAT HE WROTE IT TO.
Why is that so hard for you to understand ? ? ?
O.T. ASSEMBLY = They Believed in their heart (human spirit) that GOD will send a Messiah to pay for their SINS.
N.T. ASSEMBLY = We Believe in our heart (human spirit) that GOD did send a Messiah to pay for our SINS.
That is the same faith, the FAITH of ABRAHAM.
O.T. ASSEMBLY and N.T. ASSEMBLY are SAVED because of their EXACT SAME FAITH. IT NEVER WAS and IS because of something we DID DO.
Malachi 3:6 (NASB)
6 "For I, the LORD, do not change;
therefore you, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed.
BUT THE SYNAGOGUE, LAMPSTAND or CANDLESTICK, is not a person. WHAT HE IS SAYING IS: IF YOUR RULING ELDERS DO NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH THE PROBLEMS I POINTED OUT TO YOU, I WILL WALK AWAY FROM YOUR CHURCH. You are trying to read into these verses that which is NOT THERE AT ALL.
That is how Psuedo Christian Churches get started.
You cannot Contradict Scripture that He has said ELSEWHERE.
Ephesians 2:8-9 (NCV)
8 I mean that you have been saved by grace through believing. You did not save yourselves; it was a gift from God.
9 It was not the result of your own efforts, so you cannot brag about it.
John 3:36 (ESV)
36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.
It is NOT eternal, IF YOU CAN LOSE IT.
You CANNOT WALK AWAY PERMANENTLY, if you are BORN AGAIN.
You WERE IMMERSED (BAPTIZED) into the SPIRITUAL BODY of JESUS CHRIST the moment YOU TRULY BELIEVED IN THE HEART which is the human spirit, NOT THE HEAD, you cannot Un-baptized you or Un-Immersed you, period.
There are Many who think they were saved, when they HAVE NOT EVEN COME CLOSE TO THAT DEFINITION.
1 John 2:19 (NKJV)
19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.
HERE IS ANOTHER VERSE:
John 6:47 (HCSB)
47 “I assure you: Anyone who believes has eternal life.
You are asking the WRONG QUESTION!
What does the BIBLE MEAN BY BELIEVES ?
BELIEVE MEANS IT MUST BE IN THE HEART, with AGAPE LOVE.
IT IS NOT WITH THE INTELLECT OF YOUR HUMAN BRAIN.
Romans 10:10 (HCSB)
10 One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation.
OH MY, you may have missed the critical element of SALVATION, YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART (Human Spirit); NOT WITH WHAT LIES BETWEEN YOUR EARS.
AND WHERE IS GOD's LOVE, IN THE HUMANS?
Romans 5:5 (HCSB)
5 This hope will not disappoint ⌊us⌋, because God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
2 Timothy 1:9 (HCSB)
9 He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.
Titus 3:5-7 (HCSB)
5 He saved us— not by works of righteousness that we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
6 He poured out this ⌊Spirit⌋ on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
7 so that having been justified by His grace, we may become heirs with the hope of eternal life.
Romans 4:3-5 (NET)
3 For what does the scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness."
4 Now to the one who works, his pay is not credited due to grace but due to obligation.
5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in the one who declares the ungodly righteous, his faith is credited as righteousness.
1 Peter 1:3-5 (HCSB)
3 Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. According to His great mercy, He has given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead
4 and into an inheritance that is imperishable, uncorrupted, and unfading, kept in heaven for you.
5 You are being protected by God’s power through faith for a salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.
Oh my goodness...you are not understanding...there are no priests who can enter in and offer acceptable sacrifices, sir...all are unclean...please read what GOD says for Haggai to ask the priests...Since Jesus defined the kingdom as spiritual only, this refers to the church symbolically.
This is true but you need to recognize the symbolism in OT kingdom prophecies.

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:” 1 Peter 2:9 (KJV 1900)8

You are questioning how the Jew can build a temple when the specs are not complete as per Ezekiel>
The SAME REASON why they will ignore Haggai 2, sir...
That is the only reason I said that.
They CAN NOT provide a pure priestly bloodline, they were all, all men were, declared unclean...yet...they will build a temple and enter in to offer unacceptable, tainted sacrifies, from the hands of unacceptable, tainted men who CAN NOT ENTER in...unless first washed by the ONE WHO WASHES...
How many sins do you have in your past? Those who brought the charges against Calvin did present Scripture. Maybe study for the "Truth of Calvin," not for what you only desire to know.

That temple was in the process of being built sir. It is not the temple which Paul speaks of to the church of Thesselonians, or the man in linen speaks of to Daniel...Back up 60 pages. Why is there a Third Temple prophesied at all? The Second Temple had not yet been built when Daniel was written.
Those who brought the charges against Calvin did present Scripture. Maybe study for the "Truth of Calvin," not for what you only desire to know.
Calvin is dead. Why put him on trial . We have the same scriptures that need to be rightfully divided .
That temple was in the process of being built sir.
In fact, that temple was being built even in the time of Daniel, but as Daniel 10 opens with, the things which Daniel are given to see were not until a later time.
.
How can you prove he did that? Not the sin of taking what we read in Scripture and completely turning it into something completely false, like Calvin did.
