About a week or two ago, someone really wanted me to read this book. I seldom read books, but I will listen to them. So I went ahead and bought this one. Even though I had listened to a sermon by Derek Prince. I feel insecure about this guy. He seems to believe that Christians can have a demon, and that a Demon is behind just about every bad thing that happens.

Here is a link to the audiobook that I was asked to read.

He believes that there is a demon of arthritis. One time He was sick. Some Christians laid hands on him. He started to feel better but He was still hurting. He got to wondering if someone had the demon of arthritis, so He rebuked the demon, and the pain went away... I thought that was a strange story.

You can go ahead and order your own copy of the Book and see what you think of it.

While I found it interesting, I didn't find it helpful. To me it's just a guy who mostly wrote based on his weird experiences. In the beginning He sorta backs things up in scripture. I think it's his interpretation of scripture. He doesn't seem to believe that Demons are fallen Angels. Which is kinda interesting.

I think I'm going to stop here and just say i found it interesting, and probably will never listen to it again.

I believe Christians most definitely have demons around. Their job is basically to make you as miserable as they can. They tempt you or test you. They're used and allowed by God. Think Job. That being said as a Christian you can't be possessed by a demon bc God lives inside.

Demons mess with you all the time. In nightmares. It's that energy you feel that you know is evil. That's why you run even not knowing what it is. Oh and they can walk around you. They whisper in your ear and if you listen they will manifest in your dream as they are energy or a demon.

My relative is unfaithful to his wife and he mentions about a demon chasing him around in nightmares. Bc he is listening they come around. But it may just be you're being fearful. God did not give a spirit of fear.

As far as diseases I definitely think there's a big spiritual component. That's why Jesus could heal without surgery. I have endometriosis which is a blood clotting disorder but also causes infertility. It's a disease that runs in my family. All the women have it. So demons would attach to the generations in that case. I think there is a way out of it, but I haven't figured it out yet. Or God hasn't revealed it.

As far as demons not being fallen angels. Some people believe they are actually nephilim or half human/have angel. I have absolutely no idea about that and don't know any verses that explain it.
