You are way off base. That number is the total number of CANADIANS who supposedly died from COVID. The number of Albertans is only 2,322 (and I live in Alberta). Which is less than one-tenth of Canada.
Now let's do the math, and also adjust for over-reporting by at least 30% (CDC in the USA over-reported by over 90%).
2322 - 30% = 1,625
Population of Alberta = 4.5 million (approx)
Percentage of deaths in Alberta = 0.036
That is only 36 deaths per 100,000.
Now if the HCQ combo pack and ivermectin had been freely available and their use encouraged, that number would have dropped by about 60%. So COVID deaths (actual infections only) would have been only about 14 deaths/100,000. No more than flu deaths. These treatments were deliberately sabotaged to increase infections and deaths.
There was absolutely no need for Jason Kenney's COVID tyranny. Particularly targeting Christian pastors and churches who refused to bow to bogus restrictions on meetings and gatherings. Kenney and Shandro should have been fired, and also prosecuted for medical fraud and violation of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

Well the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms was representing him and demanded that the government of Alberta provide hard evidence that the lockdowns had actually prevented infections and that the Public Health Act was based upon true science, not fear-mongering.

If this was any other case, it would have been thrown out of court. But because this is all about robbing people of their freedoms and establishing tyranny in Canada, the judge failed to dismiss all charges.

The case fatality rate for COVID is slightly more than double for the plain-vanilla flu. Maybe 0.25% max 0.3%. But you're going to see quoted rates on the internet at the utterly absurd level of 10% and even 20%.........ridiculously faulty numbers.
The great Spanish flu of 1918 had a case fatality rate of something like 3%......fully 10 times greater than today.
The best doctors in the business were correct in assessing this present situation as "a bad flu". NEWSFLASH: There is no vaccine. A vaccine produces immunity to a specific disease. No one is immune from Covid19 or its variants. The polio vaccine immunized against polio. Same goes for mumps, measles, rubella, tetanus, et al.
