OK, maybe we can speak together. You state as a fact that I can't see my own sin, as if you know all my sin and I don't. As if you have the power to dictate to Chris to not forgive my sin.

To me it is not right for you to speak of the law as you do, I am objecting to that. The law is from God, and God does not curse us. God gave us a way for our sin not to cause our death, God gifted us with salvation. That is a blessing, not a curse.

This is what I accuse you of, do you see something else? I am sure that you are trying to live according to scripture as you see it.

My sin has been given to Christ and Christ wiped it out. I live in repentance, constantly needing Christ and Christ is always faithful. I have no righteousness, but I have the righteousness of Christ.

Yet Paul and Moses said it. last I heard. All the words of scripture are inspired by God (God breathed) hence God said it.

What you need is to learn the true meaning of sin. And the true purpose of the law. Paul told you what it was. You called Paul a liar also.

We are told how to use the law and what the law is. The root of the word law we see in our translations is almost always translated from the word Torah. Torah means law, but so much more--it is God's loving guidance for us. When you speak so against the law, you are speaking against the love and guidance of the Lord.

If we use this guidance correctly according to scripture, it is not used by our own interpretation and minds, we listen to how God uses it in us. We are not to boast of our own righteousness, it is the righteousness given to us by the Lord.

Demons use that fact in order to get people to not repent, telling us it is useless for us to reach for God's ways so they try to talk us into not repenting of sin.

Jesus said be perfect

Not repent

The Pharisees watered down the law. They as much as annulled certain commands and made up their own commands in effect watering down the law. It is the Pharisees who Jesus condemned in the Sherman on the mount

He said he did not come to remove but to fulfill. The OT law still stands. No cheating it is here today not on hot or tittle will pass

After Jesus refuted their fake law keeping by telling them the law says but I say. He told them the requirement

Be perfect as God is perfect

That’s the standard.

That’s why the law was given to shut our mouths when we try to say how righteous we are and point us to Christ

You cannot follow the law untill you have a change of heart..(new heart).
You cannot have a new heart unless you are born again.
You cannot be born again unless you repent and believe.

The Pharisees dating back even till moses day taught that salvation is given out of obedience to the law.
The ten commandments are broken into two parts. Your relationship with God. Your relationship with man.
This is why jesus said the greatest commandments are these.
To love God....To love your neighbor.
Jesus knowing full well what was being taught said...you have heard it said but I say this to you.
He did not change the law but told them what the law truly said and ment.

Obedience to God became a ritual and religion instead of a joy and life style.
The old testament nation of Israel is a example to the world of not only the glory of the Lord but also the pit falls and repercussions that can happen when we choose to follow what is not written.

Jesus did NOT say we should not repent, Jesus told us to repent.

Anyone who is a guide to anything--from college professors to sports coaches--tells us to strive for perfection.

How can you repent if you decide to accept the sin in your life? What do YOU think repentance is? I think it is turning our backs on sin. Paul says he still does what he does not want to do, but the key to repentance is not the results of what we want but it is about our wants.

The Pharisees watered down the law. They as much as annulled certain commands and made up their own commands in effect watering down the law. It is the Pharisees who Jesus condemned in the Sherman on the mount

He said he did not come to remove but to fulfill. The OT law still stands. No cheating it is here today not on hot or tittle will pass

After Jesus refuted their fake law keeping by telling them the law says but I say. He told them the requirement

Be perfect as God is perfect

That’s the standard.

That’s why the law was given to shut our mouths when we try to say how righteous we are and point us to Christ

I fully agree with you, except God did not bless us with the law to shut our mouths. Nor did God give it so people could say how right they are to ignore the law. It is not for righteousness from our own reasoning, it is for us to humbly seek God and show us the way.

The law is the Torah, with every bit of meaning that word has.

Oh, would you quit woth the “ignore the law” hogwash. NOBODY is saying that, and you have been told this MANY times. Do you think you can continue to bear false witness and not face consequences for it?
