Galatians 6:9
New International Version

9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

For those of us who have planted gardens or farmed land you know quite well the labor it takes to prepare a harvest. Fortunately for the farmer, they will often see the fruit of their labor whereas the Christian may not see the fruit in their lifetime.

It is easy to grow weary if we lose perspective. We do not count success by counting the harvest, we count success in the process of the labor.

Personally, I have struggled with this from time to time and still often need encouragement from friends.

It's a struggle and if you are weary reach out to someone you trust, talk about it, it's okay to remember God has a plan, He loves you, and He is working in your good works.

Don't grow weary.

Mother Teresa comes to mind where she struggled with this til the end.
It can be physically and mentally exhausting so maybe taking a bit of a break here and there can help in order to remind yourself why you're doing what you're doing in the first place, to renew your energy.
