Lib Media Freaks Out Over Trump’s ‘Sound of Freedom’ Screening.
The Guardian newspaper has stepped up its attacks on the anti-child trafficking Sound of Freedom movie after former President Donald J. Trump screened the film for a select group at his Bedminster club on Wednesday.
The British newspaper led by describing Sound of Freedom as “a hit with Qanon devotees” – although in fact it has been a hit with moviegoers generally, beating Disney’s big-budget Indiana Jones movie when it debuted on July 4th and coming in second behind the latest installment of Mission: Impossible this past weekend.
Legacy media outlets have been at pains to link Sound of Freedom and its leading man, Jim Caviezel, to “Qanon conspiracy theories” centered on the Democratic Party, Satanism, and child sexual abuse, though The Guardian was forced to admit seven paragraphs into its hit piece that the movie, which was actually finished in 2018, is based on a true story.
Tim Ballard, who Caviezel portrays, really does head a trafficker-busting organization called Operation Underground Railroad, and a raid on a Colombian island where traffickers were holding large numbers of children, depicted in the movie, really happened.

It turns out that the safety of children is a very divisive political issue. QAnon, right wing conspiracists stand for the safety of children, while Mainstream Liberal media like Rolling Stone magazine, The Guardian, CNN, etc. think that protecting children is for brain addled people.

People saying the left as a whole are pro child trafficking or deny that it exist is a fallacy that people here and in conservative forums should stop pushing because it isn't true. There is an unfortunate minority of pedophile advocacy groups that have aligned themselves with liberal politics (a strong case of "a mind is so open that the brain has fallen out" in my opinion). I do think they turn a blind eye to it on the border because it doesn't fit their desired narrative and turn to whataboutisms like "but Trump..." Personally I don't think anyone hates the actual movie itself, and will support trying to stop human trafficking, but rather they hate how they feel the movie is being promoted. If you feel I'm wrong here, feel free to correct me but I noticed many conservative outlets will advertise certain information as "The left doesn't want you to know about this!" The left does this two with certain narratives in media so both sides scream propaganda when they feel threatened.
One of the most respected movie critics/reviewers Jeremy Jahns on YouTube reviewed the movie on his channel, the only big YouTuber to do so and he said he liked it. Wasn't an amazing masterpiece but said he had fun and if you are able to see it, it's worth a viewing. It was as unbiased and straightforward of a review as can be so that is encouraging. He could have trashed it because right wing agenda or could have leaned very right and get in to the politics but he reviewed it as a normal movie, said what it was, questioned if things did happened as they did but needs more research but yeah. His review made me want to watch it.
I heard the advertising for this movie prior to the release on July 4th and there was nothing at all about they don't want you to hear this.
There was the back story of how the lead actor was blackballed after he starred in the Passion, but they weren't saying that there was any connection between that and this movie.
There was also the fact that Disney tried to keep this movie from being shown for the last five years. But no one was claiming this was "Democrats" they were claiming this was Disney.
However, when the movie came out the reviews from CNN, Politico, and RollingStone were insulting, not to the film, not to the director or the actors or the story, but to the audience. They were insulting people who went to see this movie. This was something I could never have even considered. Imagine mocking and insulting the people going to Barbie or Oppenheimer or Mission Impossible. How is that a movie review?
I will add I saw Oppenheimer and that movie will get terrible reviews compared to Sound of Freedom. It was a confusing mess. I was able to follow it, but my wife was lost.
The movie was weird it did not seem to be a biography of Oppenheimer, but it certainly focused on his shortcomings, it didn't seem to be about Los Alamos but that was certainly the centerpiece and what everyone remembers, no it seemed the focal point was on his not getting a security clearance later in life because he insulted some jerk in the government.

I think what people are saying is that if you know a party is pushing a particular agenda, and it is harmful to people, and that harm will be caused if they are in power, even if you disagree with it, you have enabled it to happen. You can be against something and still contribute to it coming to pass. So it seems to those opposed to it that even if you say you oppose it, your actions help cause it.

QAnon is a CIA op designed to discredit Q. These are not the same things and I am very certain that Caviezel is aware of that and has nothing to do with QAnon. I have no idea what Q rally is, never heard of such a thing. So he is most likely equating a MAGA rally with Q, and calling it QAnon. Either the talking head is a complete idiot and knows nothing (unlikely) or he is trying to confuse people. He will want them searching for QAnon on the internet, the CIA op.

The one thing that I think might be the issue is the fact that snatching lecherous perverts in their house is a lame approach to dealing with this whereas pretending to be a billionaire who wants to set up another Epstein Island, that is an effective way to rescue 50-100 kids and put 5 or 6 key players behind bars, and to get some serious whistleblowers flipping and becoming state witnesses.
