I was actually glad to see that you posted something not about the KJV. Then I see that it is another video and this one is over an hour long.

My hope was suddenly dashed to pieces.

Danschance, I post on several subjects.

Now of course the Bible Version Issue is one of the most important issues that Christians need to deal with today. And that is why I discuss it a lot. Since it is an issue over the pure words of God Almighty.

And in regard to your comment Danschance, you are actually a fulfillment of Bible prophecy:

3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. - 2 Timothy 4:3-4 (Holy Bible)

Chosen you go too far in your posts sometimes, I have seen Danschanse's Posts and Danschance does indeed follow sound doctrine. You make the mistake of thinking you know Danschanse when you don't, All I ever see you do is post about how right you are about the KJV issue and anyone who does not agree with you is wrong no matter what. Who are you to accuse someone of not following sound doctrine? Do you know any ones Heart? And more importantly can you look inside yourself and know for a fact you yourself follow sound doctrine?
You must ask yourself this, what kind of Christian are you? Are you a Christian of love or judgment? do you encourage and build up believers or tear them down? Using scripture like a weapon as you just did is not what true Christian would do and if this is how you use scripture then you are not even a seeker of truth

He spent half this time tending to the bonfire, or promoting King James Onlyism starting by saying we need a King James Bible, then a few mins later by pointing out the horrendous error that in Lamentations 4:6 All the Perverted bibles have removed the word "Sin".

It then goes on to point out that all homoseuxals, or Sodomites, are an abomination to God, Spent some time showing how the Bible tells us these homoseuxals, or Sodomites are evil and must be destroyed, associating all Sodomites as occult lovers and Pagans.

This is the kind of bigoted evil I was refering to in my other posts, how is this sermon going to embrace homosexuals and promote that Jesus loves them. It is not, it will simply push them away.

UMM Chosen,

It would be nice if those of you who only look at the one thing and not the whole reason why God destroyed Sodom

Ezekiel 16 KJV

49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.
50 And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.

Please don't leave out what God said was the WHOLE reason why. And please remember you keep saying this is the only inspired translation of the Bible,so why do you leave out the whole reason why God destroyed them? God is speaking to Ezekiel and those are His words.

And add to that many redefine what we are told in the account of Sodom. There is no way by definition that men with angels is a homosexual act. It is an act of strange flesh,attempted sexual assault,possibly murder but by definition it is not a homosexual act.

That does NOT mean that God did not tell that the acts are wrong and a sin.

Chosen,

Taking it a bit further if they destroyed only for the acts of homosexuality do you then not have the women being destroyed because of what the men did? Where were the women during that time? Were they part of the group of men that came to Lot's house? Doesn't that mean then that God destroyed the women for someones else's sins? Does that make any sense at all and is that even Biblical?

Hi there Sarah,

Well I am definitely of the understanding that pride was part of their sin and iniquity. In fact, today at these abominable sodomite pride parades, it is "pride" that is always the core theme. You know why? Because they have exalted themselves in rebellion against God Almighty. They are proud of their sin and wickedness.

But also I agree with you that we should look at the whole counsel of God on any matter, comparing Scripture with Scripture. Now I do believe that the Scripture (Ezekiel 16) that you referenced was read in the video sermon. Bryan Denlinger covered a lot of Scripture in this sermon of his. And again, I do believe that one you mentioned was referenced in the video also.

The word pride appears in the Scriptures 49 times. And whenever pride is mentioned, it is NEVER positive. But always Negative.

Now again Sarah, I see the point you are making and like I said already, I do understand what you are getting at.

But I can also assure you that the reason that Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed by fire was not because of their "in-hospitality."

The very sin of Sodom was Sodomy. And of course pride played a big part in that. And the other factors listed did also.

But when we compare Scripture with Scripture it is obvious that the very sin of Sodom was Sodomy. Let us consider what the other Scriptures say on this matter:

7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. - Jude 1:7 (Holy Bible)

10 And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar.
11 Then Lot chose him all the plain of Jordan; and Lot journeyed east: and they separated themselves the one from the other.
12 Abram dwelled in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and pitched his tent toward Sodom.
13 But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the Lord exceedingly. - Genesis 13:10-13 (Holy Bible)

20 And the Lord said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;
21 I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know
22 And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before theLord.
23 And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?
24 Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?
25 That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?
26 And the Lord said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.
27 And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, which am but dust and ashes:
28 Peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city for lack of five? And he said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy it.
29 And he spake unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do it for forty's sake.
30 And he said unto him, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do it, if I find thirty there.
31 And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for twenty's sake.
32 And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten's sake.
33 And the Lord went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place. - Genesis 18:20-33 (Holy Bible)

Now notice Sarah, that the LORD said that it was the SIN of Sodom that was very grievous.

It was not their sins (plural) but their sin (singular). That is the what is being addressed in this Video Sermon.

The sin that was very grievous was not lack of hospitality like a lot of the lost sinners and reprobates say it is. But the sin that was very grievous was Sodomy.

And this sin of Sodomy was and is exceedingly sinful and wicked.

19 And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;
2 And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.
3 And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat.
4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:
5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.
6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,
7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.
8 Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.
9 And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.
10 But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door.
11 And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.
12 And the men said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place:
13 For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the Lord; and the Lord hath sent us to destroy it. - Genesis 19:1-13 (Holy Bible)

Notice that the only one in that whole city that was righteous was Lot. That was it!

Also take into consideration that when the angels went inside Lot's house to stay the night, that the men of Sodom, young and old came from every quarter, surrounding his house and why? Well, because the men of Sodom were sodomites and they wanted to sleep with these two angels. And by the way, I know that I covered this briefly before in another thread and that is that there are NO female angels ever referenced in the Scriptures. Every angel that is mentioned in Scripture is always a man.

23 And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah,Admah, and Zeboim, which the Lord overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath:
24 Even all nations shall say, Wherefore hath the Lord done thus unto this land? what meaneth the heat of this great anger? - Deuteronomy 29:23-24 (Holy Bible)

9 Except the Lord of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.
10 Hear the word of the Lord, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah. - Isaiah 1:9-10 (Holy Bible)

Now Sarah when you read this next verrse of Scripture, consider America today!

9 The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves. - Isaiah 3:9 (Holy Bible)

That sure is a good picture of the United States today.

40 As God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour cities thereof, saith the Lord; so shall no man abide there, neither shall any son of man dwell therein. - Jeremiah 50:40 (Holy Bible)

6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;
7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)
9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
10 But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.
- 2 Peter 2:6-10 (Holy Bible)

And you know what is interesting Sarah; if you notice the verse I highlighted in 2 Peter 2, you see that Sodom and Gomorrah were made an ensample to those who would live ungodly. Are you aware that the ashen ruins of Sodom and Gomorrah have been found!

A man by the name of Ron Wyatt discovered these two ancient cities and their plain in 1989. Now here are some of the photos that were taken of modern day Sodom and Gomorrah and their layer of ash that is still around today:

Sodom and Gomorrah

But if you think about it Sarah, what happened to America? Why has America declined so rapidly in morality Well those same reasons listed in Ezekiel 16: pride, fulness of bread, and an abundance of idleness. When things go really well with a nation, it seems that is when people start to forget about God. And that can be proven for any nation.

17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.For the needy shall not always be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever. - Psalm 9:17 (Holy Bible)

And when a Nation forsakes God and His holy word, that same Nation will be turned over to Sodomy.

18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. - Romans 1:18-32 (Holy Bible)

UMM Chosen,

If the sin was Sodomy of men with men,why were the women destroyed also? The women are not even mentioned in the part with Lot. The reason they were was their total and complete wickedness. Remember there were not even ten righteous men that could be found in the cities.

Where did I say it was because of in-hospitality? Sodomy was only a part of it,it is NOT the complete picture. Remember they also did human sacrifice,idolatry,temple prostitution,etc etc.

And where in the verse from Jude that it says Sodomy? It could very well include going after angels and beasts,and that verse also includes FORNICATION.

And most take that verse from Romans out of context also. It says the one who God turns over DO NOT GLORIFY HIM AS GOD

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

What came FIRST is that they did NOT GLORIFY God,then they worshipped images like men and beasts,then they were turned over to their vile affections. Cause and effect.

Well again Sarah, consider what I mentioned earlier about angels. Every angel mentioned in the Scriptures is a man.

There is a myth that has been taught for a while about angels and it is the myth that angels are asexual. When we study what the Scriptures teach about angels, we see the total opposite. Angels in the Scriptures actually were able to have sexual relations. We know this because of the Days opf Noah. When the sons of God, an Old Testament term for "Angels." And these sons of God (angels) left their first estate and came down to the earth to lay with the women because they saw that they were fair:

6 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
3 And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
6 And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. - Genesis 6:1-6 (Holy Bible)Now also remember Sarah that the term Sodomy can also be applied to bestiality. So I think that the term "strange flesh" could possibly also be referring to bestiality in addition to the sin of Sodomy. And I do see your argument about strange flesh regarding men with angels, but again the sin would still be Sodomy because angels are men. Angels can have sexual relations.That has been established already because of the historical account given in Genesis 6.

Therefore, because angels are able to have sexual relations, the very act of angels being with men would be an act of Sodomy.

And of course, what also has been established already is that the very sin that was going on in the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah was the sin of Sodomy.

And again; in the city of Sodom, the other iniquities that were prevalent there were those listed in Ezekiel 16:49.

A lot of women do not do sodomy so if the sin was Sodomy alone why were the women destroyed if it was because of Sodomy alone? Again Jude does NOT say it was Sodomy alone.

Personally, I see God angered over others taking away others free will that God gave us. We all have free will, but the lesson to me is do not interfere in another's free will. Stop others from taking away others free will's if god tells you to, yet I know it will be done through me by God, whether it is heard or not is up to each of us individually
Just my take as I look back at when God was displeased with mankind in the day of Noah and flooded the earth.

Sarah; again, I am not denying that there were other sins and iniquities being done in the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah in addition to the very grievous sin of Sodomy.

Just read Romans 1 and see what sins and evil follows after Sodomy becomes rampant in a nation!

But the point of this thread is to clearly show that the one Sin that was very grievous and exceedingly wicked was the sin of Sodomy. Sodomy was the main reason, along with pride that the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were overthrown.

And again, when reading Genesis 18, notice that it is a particular sin that is very grievous:

20 And the Lord said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;
21 I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know. - Genesis 6:20-21 (King James Bible)

So we see that the Lord came down to see what was being done according to the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah because their sin was very grievous.

Notice it was not that their sins (plural) were very grievous. But that it was a particular sin that was very grievous. And that sin was Sodomy.

A lot of women do not do sodomy so if the sin was Sodomy alone why were the women destroyed if it was because of Sodomy alone? Again Jude does NOT say it was Sodomy alone.
Wasn't the entire place destroyed because God could find no righteous there?
Did Abraham and God not reason together over this matter?
The women there were destroyed just as Lot's wife was.
They could not hear God, and this is where their hearts were;
and that is where sexual immorality thrives.

Now of course the Bible Version Issue is one of the most important issues that Christians need to deal with today. And that is why I discuss it a lot.
How much is Bryan Denlinger paying you to keep posting his videos to the CC forums?

Matt 6:24No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
