Upon yon mount, 'neath heaven's gaze,
The Master teacheth, hearts ablaze.
Blessed be the pure, in spirit bright,
For they shall gaze upon God's light.
The gentle souls, the mourners true,
Shall find their solace, as dew renews.
The righteous yearn, with fervent will,
Shall feast on grace, their hunger still.
"Salt of the earth," the Saviour claims,
"Light of the world," His doctrine flames.
A city that on a hill doth rise,
Illuminates the blackest skies.
Not to undo but to complete,
The law, the seers, in concord meet.
Forsake thine ire, thy carnal sight,
In His realm, walk ye in light.
Embrace thine foe, to thine own cheek turn,
In Father's steps, perfection yearn.
The flowers labor not, nor spin a thread,
Yet Solomon, in glory, was not so arrayed.
Seek, and ye shall find, knock to behold,
The fruits reveal the hearts of gold.
On stone, not sand, thy house construct,
Embrace His words, in faith conduct.
Thus ends the sermon, divine and pure,
His whisper lingers, in hearts secure.
In holy writ, the message sings,
Of mount's discourse, the soul takes wing.
The Master teacheth, hearts ablaze.
Blessed be the pure, in spirit bright,
