s long as we are alive, we can produce fruit.

Only when this life has passed has the ability to produce fruit been cut off..

hint hint

we don't know what to bear on our own.
so, how can we bear when we do not have the mind of God?
only way, is to Obey God, to know His Will for us.

1 Corinthians 2:16

Jesus is the VINE, you are only the BRANCH.

how do you think you are the VINE?

that's NOWHERE in the Bible.

these words were SPOKEN by JESUS, He calls HIMSELF the VINE:

1 "I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.
2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit
I have never seen a branch, that does not have other branches coming off of it. Same with a vine. I love to garden, the main vine has branches and those branches have branches of their own. If those branches are not useful, I cut them off. But the branch coming from the vine is still intact and alive.

1 "I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.
2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit

how can a SINNER, be IN CHRIST, without first being Saved?
This is an excellent question, and very logical. So you have to ask yourself: what is God teaching in the passage?
So reading through John 15, what is God actually teaching in the passage? What's the subject or main point?

that's why it says if you are producing fruit, you are being pruned.

but the none of the Branches can produce if it is not producing from the Source, the Vine.

Jesus specifically said, No fruit, which means no producing, the Branch is cut off.

if they do not want to see it they will not

to REMAIN in Him, or to ABIDE

which is a Command.

why is God Commanding this?

What if as a believer I produce fruit in this area.

But in that area I do not produce fruit.

Does not God prune the one branch so it produces more fruit

and determines why the other is not producing (is it lying on the ground, being choked out. Does it need cut off?

15 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He [a]takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.

people can only produce what God intends for them to produce.

you act like you control how it can be done.

only thing we control, is whether we Obey or Not.
