Moses I am sure wrote them down but it doesn’t change anything, that ONLY the Ten Commandments was inside the ark, written in stone by the finger of God. It was God’s work Exo 32:16, not Moses. There is no greater Authority than God and its sad people can’t seem to see this. Like man could edit what God personally wrote and people seems to think thats just fine despite Jesus saying not a jot or tittle can pass from His law because no one is above God.

Anyway, we have been through this too many times. You will not change my mind, I will not change yours, Jesus will have to sort everything out and He will soon enough.

Take care
Moses wrote down All the words God said including the 10commandments in the book. It still Gods Words whether was inside the Ark or outside.

Believe what you want- scripture tells us something different, you are not hurting me, if you do not want to give glory to God for what He took credit for and give it to Moses instead, you can work that out with Him one day soon. Not sure how one will make the case I beleive in Jesus but not His Words, what He taught or how He lived. It sounds like a lot of people what the promises and blessing of Jesus, but do they really want Jesus?

He personally wrote it on stone for its eternal nature:
Exo 31:18 And when He had made an end of speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Moses two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone, written with the finger of God.

He personally spoke it
Exo 20:1 And God spoke all these words, saying:

He numbered them by design - the only law numbered in scripture
Deut 4:13 So He declared to you His covenant which He commanded you to perform, the Ten Commandments; and He (God) wrote them on two tablets of stone.

Note whose Covenant is this- Moses or God?

Right in the Ten Commandments God claimed them as His commandments
Exo 20:6 but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.

After the Ten Commandments- no more was added, it is a standalone unit
Deut 5:22 “These words the Lord spoke to all your assembly, in the mountain from the midst of the fire, the cloud, and the thick darkness, with a loud voice; and He added no more. And He wrote them on two tablets of stone and gave them to me.

Only the Ten Commandments was placed inside the ark of the covenant
Exo 25:16 And you shall put into the ark the Testimony which I will give you.

The Ten Commandments is the work of God- not Moses and when people choose not to give credit to God for His work is doing a disservice to God. There is not more God could have possibly done - He came down from heaven to write His holy and eternal law that He claimed as His. And its so sad people deny Him of this. As if there is someone greater.

Exo 32:16 Now the tablets were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God engraved on the tablets.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful to cleanse us of all sin and unrighteousness 1 John 2:9 so you are wrong.

But as stated some in Christ should not be living in perpetual sin. Sin is breaking God’s law 1 John 3:4 His version James 2:10-12 Mat 5:19-30 not ours
If God cleansed, you will become a new person. but If you still slip and fall then Sin still have dominion over you.

if you follow the letter then you're judge by the Letter. Rom 2:12
The New Covenant will be judge by either "believe" or "unbelieve" in regard to the gospel message.

What is more difficult? Writing the 10 Commandments on stone or writing the fullness of God’s character on our hearts?

Again, you SDAs are taking the wide road that leads to destruction.

Rom 2:12 For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law

Those without the law perish so do not deceive yourself you can be without God’s law at Judgement Day when Jesus already told you a head of time what He says to those who are without law

Mat 7:23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

If we believe Jesus we would believe what He taught, how He lived and would follow His example

But suit yourself

God wrote it on stone, then He wrote it in our hearts. Taking on His character means following the example of Jesus who lived, taught on His commandments, so argueing against them is really arguing against His character and what He embodied.

No one is arguing against them. They served their purpose. And the evidence that they served their purpose is seen in Christ. They were given until the Seed came.

you're still lawless if you fail keep Gods commandment. You need Jesus Spirit to be able to live like Him. The old covenant is solely the work of the flesh Not the Spirit.

That‘s the sacrificial law Heb 10:1-22 Heb 9:10-15 , Jesus said not a jot or tittle can pass from His law, breaking the least of these commandments affects our status in heaven Mat 5:19-30 i.e Judgement because there will never be a time we are not to take on the character of Christ which is reflected in His commandments - holy, just, perfect eternal

Of course you need His Spirit to live like Him its what I’ve been saying John 14:15-18, but one would be following in His footsteps and He kept all of the commandments including the Sabbath. So saying we want to follow Jesus but doing something different is not the same.

Wrote what in our hearts? the 10 words? How about Christ live in our hearts, is it the same thing or different?

Read Hebrews 8:10 we do not receive His Spirit by being in rebellion to His law. John 14:15-18 1 John 3:24 Heb 8:7-8 This is a deception

Now that is the New Covenant you're saying.

The old covenant doesn't need Jesus, it All the man's work apart from God.

Everyone needs Jesus old and new covenant. How did Enoch make it to heaven on his work? He saved himself?

Youre rebellion if you still slip and fall. i am too. But under the NC Christ will eventually save from being rebellious to be an Obedient son.

As usual, the SDA adherents can't discuss this subject without going over the deep end.
