You're too stubborn and blind to know what Sabbath actually is. And I don't for a minute believe you ever attended a Messianic congregation..

You talk a lot of hate. And in the process you prove you do not know the Gospel at all.

John 17:14 I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

If you don't hate evil, then you are God's enemy.

What nerve you have to presume to know something about me that you have absolutely no way of knowing. Everything you project at me is coming from your own heart. We used to meet every Shabbat in a church gym. The leader was a holocaust survivor, and we broke challah his wife made and had brandy he made.

A Rest for the People of God

People try to apply Hebrews to something new, when its mainly referring to OT. Its referring to David quoting why the Israelites didn't enter into their rest into Canaan and Joshua who led the Israelites into their rest and nothing about changing God's Sabbath, but its actually reenforcing Sabbath-keeping working in harmony with what Jesus taught, not a jot or tittle can pass from His law, breaking the least of these commandments one is least in heaven, why the Sabbath-rest or keeping of the Sabbath the literal interpretation, remains for the people of God.

Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints; here[b] are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

Eph 5:2 is referring to Christ's sacrifice.

Rom 12:1 is not referring to animal sacrifices which is what the discussion was about that ended with Christ sacrifice at the Cross.

But yes, we are to make our bodies a holy sacrifice which means we should not defile it by what we eat and how we live. We are to be sacrificed with Christ (die of self) and walk in newness with Him, who is without sin, meaning we are keeping God's law just as Jesus did, who is our example to follow. John 15:10 1 John 2:6

Rom 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? 2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? 3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? 4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Coming to Christ is the first step, but Christ doesn't leave us in a sinful state, through our faith and belief in Him. He changes us from the inside out and in doing so, we are walking as He did, who lived to be our righteous example to follow. When one criticizes us for keeping God's Sabbath commandment, its not really about us.

Eze 22:26 Her priests have violated My law and profaned My holy things; they have not distinguished between the holy and unholy, nor have they made known the difference between the unclean and the clean; and they have hidden their eyes from My Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them.

That salvation is by grace through faith and is not by works (Ephesians 2:8,9) is not hard to understand. It's just hard for works-salvationists to ACCEPT. It's a shame that human pride will not allow works-salvationists to believe in/trust in Jesus Christ as the ALL-sufficient means of their salvation. (1 Corinthians 1:18-21) Their hands are full of their works and they will not let go in order to receive Jesus Christ through faith.

Obeying what God asks us to obey that He commanded, through love and faith will never be wrong. Its amazing how things get so twisted where people think evil is good and good is evil. We were told this would happen before Jesus comes.

Ugh, another SDA doctrine that contradicts scripture. Jesus said nothing a person eats can defile him, and Paul echoed similar sentiments. This is yet another rebuttal to SDA assertions that God never changes his laws in dealing with his people.

Because the NT does not affirm the Sabbath Law as it did the moral commands in the Ten Commandments, one needs to discern the correct doctrine for Christians by considering the following Scriptures.

1. God rested from His work and rested on the seventh day and made it holy per GN 2:2-3.

2. Moses promulgated the Sabbath law as the 4th of the Ten Commandments in EX 20:8-11, cf. LV 19:3&30, DT 5:12-15.

3. Solomon builds a temple for burnt offerings on the Sabbath in 2CHR 2:4.

4. Isaiah said those are blessed who keep the Sabbath in IS 56:2-6.

5. Jeremiah commands keeping the Sabbath holy in JR 17:21-27.

6. Ezekiel referred to the Sabbaths in 20:12

7. Jesus declared he is Lord of the Sabbath and it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath in MT 12:1-12.

8. Jesus healed a crippled woman on the Sabbath in LK 13:10-16.

If Jesus thought keeping the Sabbath was an important law, he would have affirmed it on these two occasions, but he did not specifically nullify it either, which jibes/harmonizes perfectly with Paul.

9. Paul taught that a person may rest on the Sabbath or not in CL 2:16, GL 4:9-11 & RM 14:5.

10. HB 3:7-4:11 encourages Christians to enter God’s Sabbath rest or salvation by persevering faith in Christ.

God wrote His law in our hearts Heb 8:10, the Sabbath is God's law, He wrote it, He spoke it and claimed it as His own.

Why the Sabbath is all throughout the NT. Can you please find one verse where God abrogated His Sabbath commandment in scripture. God blessed, only God can reverse Num 23:20 so you will need a thus saith the Lord. If you can't find it your argument is with a much Higher Authority than any human.

Jesus reaffirms all the promises and blessings of the Sabbath though out the ages of time, starting from the beginning Exo 20;11 Gen 2:1–3, by being Lord of the Sabbath meaning it was never abrogated for God’s people.

I remember years back discussing salvation with a coworker that had similar views of a works-oriented salvation. When I quoted several verses that spoke of believing, he became upset, stood up and proclaimed, ”If it was that easy, anybody could get saved,” Then left muttering to himself.

Look at the way the pharisees treated Christ when he told them all they needed to do was repent and trust him.

Legalism causes alot of anger, because people have to know they meet up to the fake standard they put themselves under. and if they are honest. they know they can't so that causes strife within

Jesus never condemned the Pharisees for keeping God’s commandments, He condemned them for keeping their rules over obeying God’s commandments. They added many rules to God’s law, something we are told not to do Deut 4:2 We are not to add to or take from God’s commandments as if man could ever edit something that came directly from God

Mat 15:1. Then the scribes and Pharisees who were from Jerusalem came to Jesus, saying, 2 “Why do Your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread.”

God hates sin; does that mean He doesn't know the gospel at all?

There are many scriptures saying why they were taken into captivity idolatry being one of them and as a result, their land rested.

and My soul shall abhor you.

31 I will lay your cities waste and bring your sanctuaries to desolation, and I will not smell the fragrance of your [h]sweet aromas.

32 I will bring the land to desolation, and your enemies who dwell in it shall be astonished at it.

33 I will scatter you among the nations and draw out a sword after you;
your land shall be desolate and your cities waste.

34 Then the land shall enjoy its sabbaths as long as it lies desolate and you are in your enemies’ land;

It doesn't say that is the reason they were held in captivity in Babylon is because they only broke the 7 year sabbaths, which is what we were discussing and I'll add some important context that appeared to be missing

5 Your threshing shall last till the time of vintage, and the vintage shall last till the time of sowing;

and your highways shall be desolate.
23 ‘And if by these things you are not reformed by Me, but walk contrary to Me,
24 then I also will walk contrary to you, and I will punish you yet seven times for your sins.
25 And I will bring a sword against you that will execute the vengeance of the covenant;
when you are gathered together within your cities I will send pestilence among you;

so when you foolishly attack someone like this.. I guess you should expect people to call you out on it. Especially when you have no basis for why you are attacking this person who called it the same thing all of these great writers of the Scripture we hold dear.
