By yourself or with someone else?
I mainly study by myself but sometimes in a group bible study. Does it make a difference?

God is the one who wrote and God is the one who spoke the Sabbath commandment. Jesus kept and said it was made for mankind and to follow Him, He is the way leading always by example. We can all find this right in our bibles. :)

Israel was a name God gave to identify His people in scripture. It was both literal and metaphorical and one was always grafted in by faith. Think of Ruth in the OT.

In God's Israel there is no Jew or Gentile, why the New Covenant was still written to Israel and we are part of the promise of Abraham when we are grafted in through faith. Gal 3:26-28

Jesus is the vine, we are the branches, we don't want our branch to be cut off. He is our example to follow if we abide in Him and if we keep His commandments, we abide in His love. John 15:10 1 John 2:6

God's people keep God's law. His version as there is no one greater than He.

Rev 14: 12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
Rev 22:14 Blessed are those who do His (God's) commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.

Why we are being called out of our false teachings before its too late

Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.
Speaking of false teachings:

Mixing the old and new covenants together and promoting a "different" gospel that culminates in "salvation by grace plus law, faith plus works" remains your achilees heel.

This is typical when one doesn't have a biblical argument. As if an anti-SDA site would not be biased. We could do this with any teaching from any denomination. They did this with Jesus and the apostles, they were called all kinds of names by said followers of God. Nothing new under the sun. Just confirms what the bible said would happen Rev 12:17 so thank you.

EW didn't write God's Ten Commandments. God did. He is the one we will all have to answer to.

everything I said can be found in the scriptures.
Please show me those scriptures, that say we need to follow those guidelines in order to be "properly" keeping the sabbath holy.

You already stated (correctly) that there were two different "laws".... God's laws (10 Commandments), and Mosaic law. And you said that Mosaic law was over... we don't follow it, since Jesus.

If we keep the 10 Commandments, the only command is to remember it, and keep it holy. ALL the other "ways" to do that came from Mosaic law.... you know, the law that nobody could keep? Which made it necessary for Jesus to become God in the flesh, so that he could become our sacrifice for sins, eliminating the Mosaic law?

Of course we still obey the 10.... that is "built in" to our life in Christ.... just as he taught us.

Who said no one could keep the Sabbath? There is more to the Sabbath commandment than just Remember to keep it holy. Who said all the Mosaic laws were over? Should we no longer love God with all our heart or love our neighbor?

I have presented Biblical arguments and so have the folks who wrote the articles on those sites. Most of those folks previously attended the SDA church so they know first hand about their errors. Its typical that you refuse to seriously consider the truth and instead you present a persecution complex. I read how SDA's have institutionalized deception and also how they have a persecution complex in this article below:

https://www.nonsda.org/study12.shtml

In regard to Ellen G White, I find it interesting how she said she saw a
halo of glory around the Sabbath commandment in the Most Holy Place of God's temple in heaven and that the
Sabbath is a sign of Christ's power to make people holy, and that it will be a point of decision in the last days.

She also said the mark of the beast, symbolizes the celebration of Sunday – a false and idolatrous Sabbath. This spiritual sign will be activated in a future eschatological spiritual battle that will take place in the matter of worship and faithfulness to God’s commandments.

It's no wonder that SDA' s teach that those who worship God on Sunday instead of Saturday will receive the mark of the beast, which is ludicrous!

https://www.nonsda.org/study8.shtml

That false teaching, which has turned the sabbath day into an idol, is a stumbling block to believing the gospel.

It's fine if you want to keep the Sabbath like the Jews did, but don't condemn those who chose to follow the New Testament that Jesus spoke of at the Last Supper.

Not just the Jews. Jesus said the Sabbath was made for man Mark 2:27, and the word here means mankind and for everyone who wants to join themselves with Christ Isa 56:1-6

If the day of God's Sabbath was changed in scripture this would have been the perfect time for the apostles to tell the Gentiles.

Acts 13:42 So when the Jews went out of the synagogue, the Gentiles begged that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath.

Did the apostles correct the Gentiles who wanted more gospel preaching the next Sabbath?

Acts 13:44 On the next Sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God.

Of course not, because the Sabbath is a commandment of God, just like the commandment to not worship other gods, or to steal, or commit murder.

Why the Gentiles kept every Sabbath with the apostles

Acts 18:4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath, and persuaded both Jews and Greeks.

You guys keep thinking the Sabbath is not in your bibles, but it is.

This is all New Testament scripture and NT says the Sabbath rest is according to the commandment Luke 23:56 so lots of Sabbath keeping going on in the NT decades after the Cross. Perhaps whoever is teaching one to forget the Sabbath might be teaching you the opposite of what God said. Maybe we need to start reading our bibles for ourselves instead of following the popular crowd.

He went where the unconverted were when they were there. That's evangelism. Can you point out the verses that say he was observing the Sabbath?

Well, this is not true, everything I said can be found in the scriptures. His Word is filled with ways to keep the Sabbath. We can follow His Word or do our own thing, no one forces us, but as a Christian, it means to be a follower of Christ.

Take care.
No worries. The claim a poster intended to enforce whT they write up. Those who read them is yet another tactic of gas lighting.

Anti-Sabbath agendas don't actually respect any practice of Sabbath keeping.

They imply the practice today is able to come under disciplinary action as prescribed by the Pharisees in the OT.

Whereas Jesus exampled the Sabbath and its practice and meaning when he was about his father's business of teaching and healing on the day.

Stay strong. Then adversary is about in this place.

Jesus said the Sabbath was made for man Mark 2:27,
Out of context, much?
You completele (deliberately?) missed the point of Jesus saying that. He was saying that to refute the notion that he and his followers were sinning, by working on the sabbath. He basically said, this day is not as sacrosanct as you Pharisees are trying to make it...
Sound familiar?

This shouldn't surprise anyone. The old covenant was still in effect until Jerusalem and the temple were destroyed. Do you imagine that one moment the old covenant ended, the new covenant was established and everyone knew exactly what to do?
The book of Acts records this history of the church beginning and new doctrine and practices that followed.

Which means that he was not strictly keeping the sabbath.... no work allowed.

Thank you, this is the easy part. Wait until the. Sunday law passes and more people will rise up against the commandment people of God. It’s good training.

Mat 10:23 And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.
Rev 12:17 And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
