God tests us, like he did with Adam and Eve, like he did with Job and he stayed faithful, even though his whole life fell apart. God asked for one day, to set aside each week, the seventh day Sabbath Exo 20:8-11, to spend time with us on the day He designated. He wants to give us rest and bless Isa 56:2 and sanctify us Eze 20:12 , but sadly men reject this and claim its “bondage”.
God also allows the devil to be the ruler of this world, that includes controlling workers of worldly companies. A Christian may do everything right but can't seem to get a break and find a job that is only Monday through Friday. If God helps someone to get another Job, so the seventh day is freed up. That has nothing to do with life on earth but in heaven.

I haven't seen anybody call it bondage. Is that what you think men are claiming?

When you were a child, was the crib you were put in good, protective, and righteous?
As children of God, does the unrighteous become righteous, and bad become good as time goes by?

God's standards do not change and God does not make sinfull acts righteous because Jesus died for our sins.

If the law is a standard that helps us to understand what sin is. Does God remove the law so we can sin without guilt??

I never said all scholars but the majority in Christ's time got it wrong and something He said would be more prevalent before He returns Mat 24:4-5 Its why I don't use modern translations and why we should check the original transcripts as well.

Jesus said: If you love Me keep My commandments
Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy, the seventh day is the Sabbath day of the Lord thy God.
He kept the commandments and the Sabbath and He said follow Me

Man says to forget the Sabbath. We don't need the law- we can make up our own law on what we deem is love to God, not what He deemed. Exo 20:6 1 John 5:3 and to follow man's traditions over God's commandments Mat 15:3-14

As stated all gets sorted out soon enough. I do wish you well.
Well said.
The most educated people in Jesus' day are the ones that wanted to kill Him..

They were so stuck in their own way of thinking and their own traditions that they could not see the truth.

The nation of Israel (even with all the evidence) didn't accept Jesus as their Messiah because they were blinded by the wrong understanding.

It is not just possible, but it is certain that a large number of Christians today are blinded by tradition, blinded by wrong teachings, and blinded by false teachers.

Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?

The devil only has dominion on those who allow him.

Rom 6:16 Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?

Psa 119:72 The law of Your mouth is better to me
Than thousands of coins of gold and silver.

There are millions of people who took the leap of faith and obeyed God's commandments, including the Sabbath and God has provided their daily needs and then some.

Many people do, some even in this thread.

I'm glad you don't see it that way. Either does the Lord- He says its a delight!

Isa 58:13 “If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath,
From doing your pleasure on My holy day,
And call the Sabbath a delight,
The holy day of the Lord
honorable,
And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways,
Nor finding your own pleasure,
Nor speaking your own words,
14 Then you shall delight yourself in the Lord;
And I will
cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth,
And feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father.
The mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

So basically you're putting a burden and condemnation on people through a subtle form of guilt.
The truth, the word of God, the law, and the Holy Spirit will often lead us to feel guilty which will lead us to the light if we repent an obey.
What did Jesus say....
Joh 7:7 The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.

Why was Jesus hated ? Because He told the truth.

Joh 3:19-20
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

I forgot to mention the best part about Job.

Because he was faithful even when faced with severe adversity God blessed him

Job 42:12 Now the LORD blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning; for he had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and one thousand female donkeys. 13 He also had seven sons and three daughters. 14 And he called the name of the first [e]Jemimah, the name of the second [f]Keziah, and the name of the third [g]Keren-Happuch. 15 In all the land were found no women so beautiful as the daughters of Job; and their father gave them an inheritance among their brothers.
16 After this Job lived one hundred and forty years, and saw his children and grandchildren for four generations. 17 So Job died, old and full of days.

Circumcision predated the law. It was so important that a soul would be cut off from Israel if it wasn;t done.

And again you're trying to gaslight the audience by saying the pharisees were only concerned with gentile believers becoming circumcised to be saved. The text clearly states that they said gentiles had to observe the law to be saved.
God does not change.

Paul is preaching to Gentiles that are confused about being circumcised or not.

For circumcision never made someone saved.... it was always by faith

Rom 2:25-27
25 For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision. 26 Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision? 27 And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law?

It is about the heart....

Rom 2:28-29
28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

God does not change and being circumcised outwardly never made a Jew saved. Salvation has always been by faith.

The law was given to reveal to man what sin is. It was also given only to Israel. The law is alive, but I am dead to the law. Jesus did not rise from the dead to make me able to keep the law. He transcends the law, living in a level of righteousness that is far higher than mere law. He gave me His life so that I also can be righteous in Him. Someone can keep every commandment (except the first - no one can obey that) and still go to hell.

Christians live by a new law, the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus. Under the Law, I should have been stoned to death countless times. I had no choice but to work on the sabbath. The military is funny like that. They don't allow for religious exemptions of that kind. So, Law or Grace? I choose grace every time.

So no, God does not remove the Law. He removes us. The Law does not apply to the dead.

If someone could only find a job that required work on Saturdays, for example working 3 weeks on/3 weeks off shifts on an offshore oil rig, which is more sinful to do? Continue working the job in order to feed and house his family, or quit the job and become homeless?

Easy to find excuses to work on the sabbath, there are many jobs that do not require work on the sabbath, if it happens you just move on like many of us who obey God did. In the first place it is to look for a job that does not forces you to work on the sabbath. GOD IS LOVE AND COMPASSIONATE IF PEOPLE PUT THEIR FAITH IN HIM HE WILL MAKE THIS POSSIBLE FOR YOU NOT TO WORK ON THE SABBATH. JUST ASK!

Amen brother! I have first hand experience with this and know of so many others. God is good, God is love, ask Him anything that is according to His will and He hears us. 1 John 5:14 We turn our ear from hearing the law, He doesn’t Pro 28:9. God fed the Israelites on Sabbath without having to work for it, God will take care of us too that want to do His will Psa 40:8 Heb 8:10

Daniel preferred to be eaten by lions- losing everything including his life than break one of God’s commandments and sin. God took care of him through faith. There is a reason this is in the Prophetic book of Daniel.

Matthew 16:26 For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?

May 5:27 “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ 28 But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.

But David ate the showbread which was against God's commandment and he was held guiltless. You legalists don't understand that times have changed. God's nature never changes, but the way he deals with mankind does. He's moved on into the perfection he planned from the foundation of the world, but you haven't and cling to dead law. God wants mercy, not the sacrifice of not working on Saturdays

But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him; How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests? Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless? But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple. But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless. Matthew 12:3-7

If only people trusted in God and asked, this world would be a much better place,. Jesus was clear;
Matthew 7:7-11;
7“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. 9Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! 12Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

Happy sabbath!

You just made a “straw-man” argument by saying something I did not say and easily defeating your own words.

The law is good and holy, just like the crib. No one curses the crib. No one says it was worthless or sinful. It served its purpose.

But after you move out of it you don’t go back into it. Unless you are admitting you are evil or profane.

8 But we know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully, 9 knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for theungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 10 for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine, 11 according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God which was committed to my trust.

Even if it means losing your house and ability to feed your family?
The thing is not to take this job in the first place, if you are temporarily stuck and take it as a temporary measure looking diligently for an alternate and asked God to hep,, i doubt the lord would comdemn you as long as you seek something better, God is mercy and compassionate he would understand And help you if you are sincere., this i believe is found in scripture.

The verses you posted has nothing to do with the devils Dominion. That's you using scripture to bash.

This below isn't something people can avoid.

Revelation 2:10
Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Look, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison to test you, and you will suffer tribulation for ten days. Be faithful even unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.

14 Then you shall delight yourself in the Lord;
And I will
cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth,
And feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father.
The mouth of the Lord has spoken.”
No sorry they don't and it's simply your opinion bashing.

You are bold there's doubting that, you use scripture as personal clubbing.
