abcdef....Daniel 9:24-27 does NOT say anything about the coming of the LORD Jesus, You are reading it all wrong .
In my opinion it is pure fiction, just like the Da Vinci Code.
1 John 2:18 (NIV)
[SUP]18 [/SUP] Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour.
HE IS NOT THE ROMAN RULER THAT DESTROYED THE TEMPLE IN 70 A.D.
2 Thessalonians 2:1-5 (NKJV)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you,
[SUP]2 [/SUP] not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come.
[SUP]3 [/SUP] Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,
[SUP]4 [/SUP] who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
[SUP]5 [/SUP] Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things?
THUS THIS ANTICHRIST is one that will take over the a FUTURE THIRD TEMPLE, because the 2nd Temple was destroyed in the year 70, and 2 Thessalonians was written some time AFTER the year 75.
Thus He is the Beast with 10 horns symbolizing a Ruler over a Confederacy of Nations, same as the feet with 10 toes on the Statue, made of Iron mixed with clay, in Nebuchadnezzar's dream. ANTICHRIST IS A FUTURE RULER THAT WILL COME TO POWER ABOUT THE SAME TIME AS THE THIRD TEMPLE IS BUILT.
True Christians will not see God's wrath poured out since we are not appointed unto wrath (1 Thessalonians 5:9)
Those scoffers that say Christians will go thru God's wrath to somehow 'purify' the Church are speaking for themselves... The Blood of Jesus makes me clean... but maybe some are not trusting in His Blood so they need to be slapped around awhile

Why do you guys skip over the wrath that came to those who were persecuting them? Paul wrote to the Thessalonians of his day, to give comfort to them. No offense but he wasn't writing to you and he wasn't writing to me or anyone else who would live thousands of years later.
"To the church of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.." See? He was writing to them. What would they care about events thousands of years after they were dead and gone? Would good would that message be to them?
Paul's message was personal.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.
Who was to be delivered? They were, not you and me. Who is the wrath coming to?
[SUP]14 [/SUP]For you, brethren, became imitators of the churches of God which are in Judea in Christ Jesus. For you also suffered the same things from your own countrymen, just as they did from the Judeans, [SUP]15 [/SUP]who killed both the Lord Jesus and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they do not please God and are contrary to all men, [SUP]16 [/SUP]forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they may be saved, so as always to fill up the measure of their sins; but wrath has come upon them to the uttermost.
The wrath was to come UPON THEM, not some bad people of our day.
I don't get you people who think Paul's letters were not written to the people he said he was writing them to. Paul specifically wrote to the Thessalonians. He specifically wrote to the Corinthians. He wrote to those in Ephesus and in Galatia, etc.
"Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy, To the church of the Thessalonians..."
"Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God,To the saints who are in Ephesus."
"To the churches of Galatia...
"To the church of God which is at Corinth..."
Obviously there are many lessons for us too but when Paul told them of things that were to come to them, he meant TO THEM, not us!!.
FYI, the wrath came to Jerusalem in 70 AD. The saints were all spared from this wrath.
This idea of a future "antichrist" in a future temple is pure fiction. There have been many bad men since Nero and the Roman emperors, and there are plenty in our day and will be plenty to come.

That was not the wrath of God.. it was merely the opposition of satan who was and is always trying to stop the Gospel from being preached.
That's where you do error...
2 Timothy 3:16
ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness
2 Peter 3:3,4
Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
Those that believe God has no escape plan for His faithful (which He has done numerous times already across HIStory)... will be shocked to find that they will have to endure the worst time in the history of the earth when they did not have to... that's too bad... for them... they be gonna miss the Marriage Supper of the Lamb!
Good luck with that preterism stuff... you be gonna need it!
You are ripe for deception... satan smiles!
One things about this that is absolutely irrefutable and beyond any argument is this... when the future gets here, we gonna find out!
Until then, speculate all you want if it helps you talk yourself out of the obvious fear that is striking the hearts of man in this hour, today, right now...

hi Ahwatukee!!!! i know it says all that but it also says of sinner getting a curse at 120 years old and animal sacrifices in the temple. so death is still there in the millennial kingdom, thats why i consider it spiritual. death cant be in the kingdom because its the last enemy to be conquered
look where the saints are in revelation they are in heaven with throne of God.
Have you read, "War of the Jews" by Josephus? If not, go read it. It will leave no doubt in your mind that it was the Wrath of God and the Lamb that was poured out upon those wicked Jews in 70 AD because their crimes where so great and so bad it was like the "days of Noah."
Your whole premise is a deception. Once Jerusalem is surrounded by armies and God sends fire down to wipe them out, then we will be in the end times. This is the next event on the prophetic calendar.
You're not understanding: the gathering of the church takes place prior to the seals, trumpets and bowl judgments. At that time, the church both dead and living will be changed into those immortal and glorified bodies. When the Lord returns to the earth to end the age and establish His thousand year kingdom on the earth, the church will return with him already being in their immortal and glorified bodies. The church and the great tribulation saints will have been resurrected and will be ruling with Christ during that thousand years in those immortal and glorified bodies.
The millennial kingdom will be a literal thousand years and should not be interpreted as allegorical/symbolic or spiritual. There will be a literal thousand year reign of Christ on this earth after God's wrath has been poured out, where at the end the Lord returns to the earth and the church with him.
At the time that we receive those immortal and glorified bodies, the following will be true:
"When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come to pass: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”
At the time when we receive those immortal and glorified bodies, we can no longer die. For the church, this will take place prior to the first seal being opened.
VCO,
You are ignoring the first part of that passage. "THIS IS THE LAST HOUR" not 2,000 years from now!!!!! They were living in the "last hour" of their country. This was the Mosaic Age coming to an end. This has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with our time in history.

2:18 Another test of those who are in the Christian fellowship is the test of doctrine. The subject is introduced by a warning addressed to those who are babes in Christ against false teachers. Those who are young in the faith are especially susceptible to the lies of the Antichrist. John's readers had been taught that an Antichrist would arise prior to the coming of Christ and pretend to be Christ. Just as coming events cast their shadow before them, so prior to the rise of the Antichrist, many antichrists appear. These are false teachers who offer a false christ and a false gospel. It is remarkable that the day in which we live is characterized by the existence of many Christ-denying cults, and these all bear testimony to the fact that the coming of the Savior is near.

C. In the light of the deceptions of the last hour (2:18-23)
2:18. John's general warning against the world is now followed by a warning against one of its end-time manifestations. The false teachers who were present were worldly to the core (cf. 4:5). The readers knew about the predicted advent of the Antichrist and needed to be alerted to the appearance of many who would display his traits of hostility toward God's Christ. This is a clear indication that history has entered a climactic era: the last hour. Despite the lapse of centuries since John wrote, the climax of all things impends in a special way. The stage has been set for history's final drama.

Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time [1John 2:18].
The word translated "little children" here is slightly different from the word that is translated in the same way back in verse 12. There it is a term of affection and implies all who are born into God's family, God's little born ones, little bairns as the Scottish term is. These little children here indicate the first degree of spiritual experience which we have seen in verses 1John 2:12-14: the fathers at the top, then the young men, and then the little babies. Here John is talking to the little babies again. The little babies haven't grown up yet. They are passing through this world, and the chances are that they have been tripped up by one of these three things which John has just mentioned.
"It is the last time." We are living in the last day here upon the earth. It has been the last time for a long time. This is the age when God is calling out a people for His name. You can say at any time during this period, "Now is the acceptable time. Today if you will hear His voice." Why the urgency about salvation? Because, my friend, you might not be here tomorrow. Tomorrow I might no longer be heard preaching on the radio. It just might be that we will not be around, so it is important that I give out the Word, and it is important that you hear the Word.
"As ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time." Many antichrists had already appeared in John's day, but there is coming the Antichrist. What do we mean by antichrist? I think that this word has been misunderstood and, as a result, the person who is coming has been misunderstood. Antichrist is made up of two words: the title Christ and the preposition anti. It is important to see that anti has two meanings. It can mean "against." If I am anti-something, that means I am against that thing. Anti can also mean "instead of, an imitation of." Therefore, it can be a substitute. It can be either a very good substitute or just a subterfuge for something.
The question arises, therefore: Is the Antichrist to be a false Christ or is he an enemy of Christ? Where does Scripture place the emphasis? There are several references to Antichrist in 1 John, but the only things we can derive from this verse is that there is going to be the Antichrist and that there were already many antichrists in John's day. What was the thing which identified an antichrist? He was one who denied the deity of Christ. That is the primary definition of an antichrist which we are given in 1 John, as we shall see when we come to verse 22. This is the emphasis in 1 John, but you will recall that the Lord Jesus said, "...many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many" (Matt. 24:5). That is antichrist -- instead of Christ, claiming to be Christ.
I personally believe that there are going to be two persons at the end of the age who will fulfill both of these types -- being against Christ and claiming to be Christ. Scripture presents it that way in Revelation 13. There we have presented a "wild beast" who comes out of the sea, and Satan is the one who calls him forth. That is the political ruler, and he is definitely against Christ. There is a second beast who comes out of the land. He appears to be a lamb, but he is a wolf in sheep's clothing. He pretends to be Christ who is "...the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world" (John 1:29). He will be a religious ruler. The political ruler will come out of the gentile world, the former Roman Empire. The religious ruler will come out of the nation Israel -- they would not accept him as their Messiah unless he did. So that you have actually two persons who will together fulfill this term antichrist. They are coming at the end of the age, and both of them can be called Antichrist -- one against Christ and the other instead of Christ.

[h=5]1. Antichrists Depart From Christian Fellowship (2:18-21)[/h] 2:18 the Antichrist. This is the first occurrence of the term antichrist. Its usage is found only in John’s epistles (4:3; 2 John 7). Here, it is a proper name and refers to the coming final world ruler energized by Satan who will seek to replace and oppose the true Christ (Dan. 8:9-11; 11:31-38; 12:11; Matt. 24:15; 2 Thess. 2:1-12; see notes on Rev. 13:1-5; 19:20). many antichrists have come. While the term’s first occurrence refers to a particular person prophesied in Scripture, this one is plural and refers to many individuals. John uses the plural to identify and characterize the false teachers who were troubling John’s congregations because their false doctrine distorted the truth and opposed Christ (Matt. 24:24; Mark 13:22; Acts 20:28-30). The term, therefore, refers to a principle of evil, incarnated in people who are hostile and opposed to God (cf. 2 Cor. 10:4, 5). John writes to expose the false teachers, the wolves in sheep’s clothing, who purvey damning lies (cf. Eph. 5:11). the last hour. The phrase refers to the “latter times” or “last days,” i.e., the time period between the First and Second Comings of Christ (1 Tim. 4:1; James 5:3; 1 Pet. 4:7; 2 Pet. 3:3; Jude 18).

No, I spend my time reading God's Word as you should be doing as well instead of conspiracy theory nutjobs
That in no way means God is a liar Who refuses to continue honoring His promise made with Abraham where God swore by Himself because He could swear by no one else... to bless the descendants of Abraham, if they would just let Him.
Those that curse Israel will be cursed, so I wouldn't want to stand very close to you when darkness slaps you around which will happen unless you repent.
You are confused thinking just because some bad things happened back in the day means there will be no great tribulation coming in modern times.
Your whole premise is based on thinking God is a liar which is acting ignorant.
but there are people dying in the 1000 year kingdom. how else is jesus gonna destroy the gog and magog??
train stops.
