Don't let Ahwatukee fool ya. He has sold completely into man's doctrine of the pre-tribulational rapture. The Matt.24 example I gave is our Lord Jesus speaking to His disciples upon the Mount of Olives, which is where Zechariah 14 declares His feet will touch down at His 2nd coming.

In 1 Thessalonians 5 and 2 Peter 3:10, both Apostles Paul and Peter declared the "thief in the night" timing to happen on the "day of the Lord". Per the OT prophets, and NT revealing, especially that 2 Peter 3:10 verse, the "day of the Lord" is to occur only... on the very last day of this present world. It ends the great tribulation is what that means.

Ahwatukee has been wrongly taught that the "day of the Lord" event occurs during the tribulation, as if... it were the tribulation of 3.5 years. It is not. The "day of the Lord" events recorded in OT Scripture for the end of this world occur very rapidly; in the Book of Isaiah God even shows it will occur "suddenly, at an instant" (Isaiah 29).

Here is what occurs on that "day of the Lord" per Scripture:

1. Christ's coming on the "last trump", the 7th trumpet (Rev.11; 1 Cor.15)

2. Jesus brings the "asleep" saints with Him (1 Thess.4; Matt.24:29-31)

3. The saints on earth still alive are 'changed' "at the twinkling of an eye" (coupled with the "suddenly, at an instant" burning event of Isaiah 29:5 and 2 Peter 3:10).

4. Both groups of saints gathered to Jesus as He comes down to the earth upon the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem, where we are gathered to (1 Thess.4; Matt.24:31; Mark 13:27).

5. Christ and His angels fight the battle of Armageddon, an event coupled with the burning fire event of Isa.29 and 2 Pet.3:10 (Rev.16).

6. The beast and false prophet are thrown into the lake of fire; the devil is locked in his pit prison, and Christ's 1,000 years reign with His elect, on earth, begins (Rev.19; Rev.20; Rev.5:10).

God's consuming fire burns man's works off the surface of this earth, at an instant (2 Pet.3:10; Isaiah 29:5).

Not even close. This prophecy is to and about Israel. You confuse the elect among the nations who is Israel with the elect in Christ who is the church.

You really cannot discern Ezek 37? Here's a hint it's not about all peoples. It refers directly to Israel and speaks to them as a nation. Ezek 37 is not a general resurrection but a restoration of the nation of Israel. The great tribulation is all about Israel and nothing about the church which is the bride of Christ.

Ezek 38 leads to Gog and Magog which come against Jerusalem and results in the battle of Armageddon. Rev 16:16

Just FYI, the scripture that you used above is figurative for Israel being reestablished in the land of Israel and is not speaking about them literally coming out of their graves. This is not referring to a literal resurrection. Read the entire context there in Ezek. 37.

You conveniently left off the next verse which mentions the names of the twelve apostles that will be written on the foundations of the New Jerusalem. The bride of Christ is the church which is made up of both Jew and Gentile. The twelve tribes written on the gates represents Israel and the twelve apostles written on the foundations represent the church. The twenty four elders are also representing both Israel and the church.

Sure does. And they are not going to heaven {as the rapturist claim} but are taken to Zion {Jer.3v14} for the 1000yr period of rest.

Theres the bride according to this new covenant scripture. Its the 12 tribes of Israel, just as the old testament says.

See now you have the bride of Jehovah, Israel with the bride of Christ which is the church. A little dispensational understanding would go a long way to correcting your errors.

So in order for your rapture to take place your gonna claim Zeke 37:12 is not talking about a resurrection. YIKES. Im not surprised as earlier someone made the claim Jesus didnt know what He was talkin about {He goofed} in order for the rapture theory to hold water.

The hope of believers, Jewish, is to enter the kingdom of God or for the church to take her place in heaven with Jesus.

I know who has goofed up because he hasn't listened for the voice of the Shepherd.
