Boiled down to it's basics:

1. Since Reagan, the economy has continued to expand
2. Since Reagan, CEO compensation has skyrocketed
3. Since Reagan, worker compensation has stagnated or even fallen.

It doesn't take much to do the math.

The average worker accepts indentured servitude because they know if they don't their jobs will go overseas to some kid in China working for $5 a day. Corporate America has decided that in the global economy we will compete with third world countries by becoming on. Thus, we have stagnant or even decreasing compensation for workers while CEOs suck up all the increase, and with it the elimination of the middle class which is what made this country great and strong. If it costs an American company 25k to build an suv and a third world country, by virtue of servitude wages, only spends 10k to build the same vehicle, then the third world country should pay a 15k tariff rather than the US decreasing worker pay to match that of the third world country. Which is actually something Trump said he would do, imposing tariffs on third world products. But just how far do you think he'll get with that, having stocked his cabinet with rich people who don't want to share the wealth?

We are on the same wavelength my friend!

You guys seem to be under the impression the cabinet hired Trump.

And......... we are going to blame Trump for that?

We segued from Trump to the rich fat cats he has surrounded himself with. So no, we can't blame Trump for the current situation, the point is that with those he has chosen Trump is not likely to fix it.

I hope I'm wrong, but when you surround the henhouse with foxes you have to expect that at least a couple hens are going to end up missing.

The cabinet gives Trump direction. Do you think if his cabinet says one thing he's going to do something different?

that depends on whether you think Trump is his own man or not. The way I see it....Trump ain't gonna take any crap and knows crap when he see's crap.

Ummm....are we talking about the same CIA that loves to use their poppy fields in Afghanistan to supply countries they want to destabilize? You either trust these agencies or you just like to argue. Either way it is you who appears foolish to the discerning people of cc.

HA HA HA HA HA
Just say anything that makes you feel better.LOL LOL

It's nice to know that at least one person out there hasn't forgotten all God said about riches and gone over to the dark side :)

That's if you only take one perspective as to what God has to say about riches. This is why I really don't trust too many "christians" these days. They tend to put God in their little safety box.

What if he did? At one time, I actually had the distorted idea that Obama could be a good thing for this country. But that was before he proved to be just another race-baiting divider.

LOL. Obama leaves the White House with the highest approval numbers in history. While this forum has been one endless hate fest for him from so many people here, he is continually praised in so many other forums. The approval numbers prove that his administration, contrary to the myths taught here every day, has been a remarkable success.

Ahem ....
