Do you struggle with sin? Do you fear condemnation? Do you try and try but you just keep falling short? Do you often find yourself worrying about your impurity? Your slip ups, remembering every sin you ever did with guilt in your heart?

Stop and listen, free yourself from the chains you have burdened yourself with for there is only One who can bare them, and He died on the cross with them.

You have the truth. You know in your head this to be true. But you struggle in your heart to fully accept it; to truly live free in Christ

Stop and listen. You are no longer a slave to sin. It has no power over you any longer. You are now and forever clean and spotless in Christ, no matter how much you mess up. For every mistake, every sin, there is a drop of Christ's blood to cover you.

Do you not know the authority you have been given over sin and the devil? Are you not aware the position He has placed you in? They cannot touch you, they have no choice but to submit to you because of Christ who lives in you. The very notion that sin or the enemy can even come near you is laughable, ridiculous, bonkers, insane even.

Do the scriptures not say you have been made a rightful heir to His kingdom? Are you not royalty? Do you even understand what that means? Being royalty means you have the power. You have the authority. You have the say in the matter, not your sins or the devil

Cast down your chains, rebuke every notion that you are in any way inferior. Take captive every thought that makes you doubt this truth even a little. Never give it any room, never let it even reside in your mind. Rebuke it, cast it back to hell where only the filthy lies can go. Stand up chosen ones. Take your rods and show the devil who is the real boss around here. Use that fire that burns in your eyes. Let the flames in your soul stir and burn away every lie. You are not just chosen, you are not just strong, you are not just mighty in Jesus name. You are His child. You are forbidden to be touched, to be harmed, or to have your joy taken away. This can only happen if you willingly give it and let it.

And when you cannot stand any longer, the King will carry you and uphold you. He will renew your strength and make that fire burn alive in you again.

Romans 8:1-17 King James Version
8 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

In these verses it talks about walking after the Spirit. It says, "And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness." I think this means that we are sinful and we have that slant but the Spirit is more powerful and he will bring us righteousness in our lives because he is righteous. I think it is through the Spirit that we overcome sin in our lives, mortifying the deeds of our body, and living out better lives with the help of the Spirit.
