the old testsment announced total destruction of the earth and everything in it including mankind
“The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left. Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth. The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.”

the gospel is what saves us from that end and promises us a new home

we need salvation because creation is doomed Jesus is offering us a new home with him that will never be corrupted or fall into sin again but will be forever without death or sorrow . Where God walks among us
we can be saved from the worlds fate of destruction by fire if we believe the gospel

Your post contains about half truth and half untrue. I have already explained that you have taken 2 Pet 3:9 out of context, and yet, you throw it back at me with your same false interpretation of it, just as you have in most of your post.
You have been indoctrinated with a preconceived idea that God wants to eternally deliver all mankind to heaven, but he Just doesn't have the power to accomplish his will.
Your preconceived false doctrine elevates man's power and belittles God's power.
The Bible says what it says personal interpretations don’t have anything to do with it, whether we’re humble enough to believe and let it correct our thinking about God is what matters

By mankind not accepting his, so called offer, could not stay God's hand, if God wanted to deliver (save) him eternally. God accomplishes all of his will. Man is not more powerful than God. God does not want to eternally deliver all of mankind. Scriptures do not contradict each other.
