TOILET PAPER
Seems there is a run on toilet paper in some places. Stores selling out. Shelves empty.
If/when we have a real crisis who knows what will happen?

"a real crisis'?
Rush to the nearest grocery store for bread, milk and water. Happens every time there's a hurricane
watch here in Florida. BTW there isn't a water shortage - ever, just a shortage of containers. Unnecessary
panic buying.

I went to big town today and it was really quiet and shop shelves were full and the staff were having to mark down the perishables!
Maybe there was panic shopping yesterday or waiting for Sunday.

We may have a real crisis brewing. We've become a paperless society and all out catalogs are now online.

As I mentioned in a previous post, I buy toilet paper online so in that regards I'm good.

I use Cottonelle wipes for a cleaner clean. And if there is no toilet paper left and there is a crisis, something will hit the fan.

UK News this morning is brawling is supermarkets over toilet rolls!
Baffles me what people do with the mega packs!
Maybe its because curry is so populer in UK these days?
Or do they dissolve toiler paper to make that awful thick dough that pizzas seem to be made from - and put me off pizzas several years ago!

There's a great God-given tp out there. I think it's called mullien or something like that. Most call it lambs ear. There's some kind of ornamental variety of lambsear people grow in gardens, but this stuff just come up here and there. It's mostly in animal pasture. It can grow 4 or 5' tall and it's leaves are softer than cottonelle and the animals don't eat it. Also you can mince it up and throw it in a lake and it'll stun fish. It's actualy illegal in my state and most others. But I've had... occasion ... to use it and it's great. Native americans used to grab some everytime they passed by and store for just such occasions.

Could have done without those respective visuals. Fan's and the fact I'll never innocently look at my favorite bag of cheddar dusted popcorn the same way again.
Thanks guys. Really.

I had to look that up after reading your post again. Here we go.

Mullein Heals The Earth

By PAUL WHEATON
Mullein (mullan, Verbascum thapsus) is a biennial plant with fuzzy leaves. Often called “cowboy toilet paper” or “the butt wipe plant”. It will grow in the worst soils, including gravel piles, rock piles, and the video will show it growing in asphalt. Mullein generally doesn’t compete with anything, so it improves the worst soils wherever it goes.

The questions of the day are: Is it flushable? Will it harm septic tanks?
