It's not easy to domesticate a lynx. Expect some shredded furniture and maybe some marking of territory.
I recommend servals instead.

Shredding and peeing on some furniture? I could see you doing that...but you cook and clean...so, I'm not buying the hard to domesticate part.
Eh... it depends what ratio you get. People breed servals with other felines. There are some that are mostly serval and some that are barely serval. The whole range is called Savannah breed.
You can see full servals at the zoo. They look not much at all like those odd looking critters.
