When I think of maturity I think of this passage:
Ephesians 4:13-16

And touches many things.
For example, the passage, "can a tree bring forth good and bad fruit?"
There is a pointing to purity .
There is a goal of heaven to take out spots and wrinkles that we may walk in the complete wholeness of heavens intention.
We deny the flesh, we fast to destroy it, we put on the armor to push temptation and demons back.
To bring us into completeness and wholeness a mature servant.
That , outside the work of the cross and His blood is a process of " perfecting" the saints for ministry.
Our standing and covenant are on the basis of covenant and the blood.

The Father, who inhabits eternity (Isaiah 57:15) descended to become a Man and then later ascended to exist outside of time once again.
So, there are two Persons called God who are in fact the same Person (God), dwelling in eternity.
