Oh, yeah. Sometimes it seems like posting in a day care full of brats, other times, someone's getting hurt over something the didn't understand in the first place. I stated my thoughts about a supposed "christian" author a few weeks ago, now one very popular member comes on every thread I write & slams me at least once.
Is it any wonder I believe judgment must first come to the house of God, & Jesus has to get us ready for His coming? He has to, because the majority, including myself, isn't ready.
I think online is very difficult at times because no one would actually do that in real life. Which is why we have to be diligent about online fellowship to begin with. There can be individuals online that have issues such as narcissism, and other various behaviors that are considered abusive and toxic.
Ignore feature is a great buffer. My advice if you can't get them to stop. Gain some space and ignore. Don't worry about what they do. They will keep parading their behaviors and eventually people do get tired of it.

Speaking of the ignore button, I've been told this Board is full of members with some pretty strange "out there" apologetics. Frankly, I'm just not seeing any of that here...
There is a current thread about hidden/secret codes written into the Bible... there are a couple
of people there claiming it is a legitimate way to prove to atheists, who they believe to be logical,
that the Bible was written by God. Of course, they mean the KJV Bible. I would call that strange .
Especially since atheists do not believe God exists, which would preclude them accepting that anything
was written by Him. But then again, they define atheists as people who are waiting for God to save them.
I do wonder if they were converted by having someone show them hidden codes in the Bible.
It is not something that is mentioned in the Scriptures as a means of evangelizing.
That is why I laughed at your post... and that is just one example. We had someone recently who
was claiming that men had been angels before they were born as humans, and would be again,
following the resurrection and judgment of all. I would call that an "out there" belief .
Really, there are too many to mention...
