Small world! I'm from Nova Scotia, where the Acadians came from. They were of course, kicked out of the province because they reused to be loyal to the British king. Someone told me once and I looked it up, that there is a statue of Evangeline there to match the one in Nova Scotia. Longfellow wrote a famous poem about it. Not to butt in on the conversation but I grew up with this story and we visited this place often.

I’m not nitpicking, but have you forgotten about the Soviet Union’s war against Afghanistan, the the Russian attack on Georgia, the Russian war against Ukraine, the Soviet Union’s intervention in Hungary and former Czechoslovakia…not to mention the “humanitarian” aid to Syria, the cooperation with Iran, China, Cuba, Venezuela and several other countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

we should be thankful that God didn't say: "you must like everyone"! my wife is teaching me this & that about Jewish people, how we're supposed to pray for them, support them, how they are God's chosen people, etc. & i am learning. i'll admit i really am not attracted to liking Jewish people for these reasons: around here anyway, Jewish people are known to be cheap, arrogant & they talk to you like you are under them. i am telling you the truth. so no matter what ethnic group people are, no one here on CC or anywhere would righteously get along with people like that. & that's not a sin.

Why are you generalizing? I could say that about a lot of people, even my relatives and friends. Jews are no worse or better than anyone else. The point is that some people seem to think they are generally bad. That’s not true.

Jewish people (I have met) are known to be cheap, arrogant & they talk to you like you are under them.

i don't think they are generally bad. i'm talking the neighborhood in which i live & further out. that's how jewish people are around here & everyone knows it. please just take it as the truth because that's what it is. i don't hate them. everyone has people they don't like. so, really, forget that they are Jewish & just think of them as "people".

You're welcome. I have the same issue too and have to be sure I'm not judging people, or seeing all people the same. I think it's natural as humans. My home country of Canada tends to be biased against French people. People on the east coast think people on the west coast are all high. West coast thinks the east coast are all fishermen. So I think its just something we as humans do. And maybe racist was too strong a word to use.

Let's all get off this damn topic.Some Jews have gone crazy,No one can bless them,and No one should Curse them.
Leave it to God to discipline them.

How do we judge a cursing streak?

I get it, English is not your first language (not mine either), so you probably come across more rude than you think. Just keep in mind that words like d*** and s*** are regarded pretty filthy in the US.
