Time for a new thread!! :cool: (because the old one has devolved into a 2nd amendment rights debate)

This thread will include all Guns, Knives, Swords, Cannons, Lasers, etc....as well as Hunting, Target Shooting, Home Defense, Personal Defense/EDC (everyday carry) and Hand-to-Hand Self-defense.

I'll start it off with a question:

If you could only take one firearm to the range, what would it be?

My two favorite guns to take to my local range are my 1911 clone and my Ruger 10/22 that was built in a bullpup configuration.
 
I really love my brother's .45, and if I was taking just one gun to the range, that would have to be it. Unfortunately, I've forgotten the make (JUST like a woman lol).
 
For me, it is krav maga and kickboxing. I run a lot.

I have two friends who are black belts in karate - one of them won the Asian karate championship defeating Malaysia and is also a part time model and works in the luxury industry in Monaco.

I played a lot of paintball - I am very good at it. So I do want to try my hand at shooting in a range.

Maybe I will be able to shoot a nut a squirrel would be holding.
 
You can get one chambered in .22. The first one I've ever fired was.

You can find them in almost every pistol round. A friend of mine let me handle his 10mm model. I didn't get to take it for a ride, however. :P

Oh good, you found your way to this new thread. We're all certainly glad you did. Have you done some studying so when you decide to educate us all about the evils of guns, you can speak somewhat intelligently instead of speaking in hyperbole and unsubstantiated factoids?

Get your popcorn and a comfortable chair everyone. This fine British fellow is going to educate us all. Let's be sure to pay attention closely. We're fortunate that he is lowering himself to speak to us, and we can all benefit greatly from his profound wisdom.

Honestly, I really dont understand why other countries do not want their weapons....
Seriously, when I picture the english (or others but mainly the english) being so anti-gun or "gun-a-phobic" if you will...
I picture a castrated man, with a rat whispering in his ear "guns are bad".

I have many guns in my safe... Why do I need them? Some are for fun, like my 12 guage and Mosin... Others are for hunting like my 30-06 and 7mm Ultra, and some are for self defense, like my 9mm.....
But I need every single one for this....

You gotta remember, we kicked your countries butt in 1776 thanks to our guns, because God knows you were not going to supply us some to fight you off...

I was just sharing pictures of what I think you look like. It's probably why non-Americans don't really join in the convo, they think the same!

Make all the jokes you want boss, but ask yourself this, if your govt. turned on you next year, and went tyrannical, what could you do to stop it? Grab a cricket bat and charge a line of men with L85's? Good luck, in my opinion you are a slave, a pet with nothing to hold over your govt.... And for not wanting a weapon to protect yourself from the possibility of evil is borderline insanity in any form of morals.
 
Sounds like you have mental issues regarding insecurity. Why do I "need" them? lol

I guess everyone without guns is as insecure as you make out you are secure with guns.

With your "command" of rhetoric and debate, I have no doubt you can illuminate all of us Americans as to how every other person in the world thinks. I for one look forward to seeing what you have to say. I am quite literally on the edge of my seat waiting for you to share your insights.

No need to be bashful now. I appreciate you finding a picture that you think looks like me, and while I am flattered, there's really no need. If you want to flirt with me, let's do that over PM so we don't make other people jealous. This thread is for you to pontificate and educate. Keep your focus.
 
Sounds like you have paranoia built into you. America has been paranoid since the cold war. If it's not about your government controlling you, then why are such things embraced?

History repeats itself, and to trust your govt with your life is the same mistake the Chinese, Germans, Russians, Cubans, Lybians, etc, etc, etc....

America won't have that problem, if tomorrow my govt. says "kill all the Christians", good luck... we can fight back... We learned from the jews, you can't trust your govt. with your life... It's sad we had to learn from that, but we take it to heart.
