Lately I’ve been sounding the alarm about the rise of AI-generated posts showing up all over this board. It’s becoming pretty obvious when someone isn’t writing in their own voice anymore — the tone changes, the phrasing gets oddly polished, and the replies start sounding like they came straight out of a chatbot instead of a real person.

This isn’t about attacking anyone. It’s about honesty and transparency. If people are going to use AI to argue theology, debate doctrine, or call out others, at least own it. Don’t hide behind it while accusing others of the same thing.

Some folks here have already been caught using AI while pretending they weren’t. When that happens, it undermines real discussion and makes the whole conversation feel fake. If we’re going to have meaningful debates about Scripture, then let’s actually do it ourselves — not outsource it to a machine.

I’m putting this out there because I’d rather see genuine interaction, not AI-generated filler. If people want to use tools, fine — just be straight about it. But let’s not turn this place into a contest of who can copy-paste the most polished chatbot answer.

Anyone else noticing the same trend?

For those I've already pointed out... Numbers 32:23 (KJV) — “your sins will find you out.”

Grace and Peace

Not sure what the issue is as long as someone can explain their point to you. And if they don't, then don't ask them anymore.

Any time I put my post in purple color it means it is a quote from someone else. Blue is God's word.

While AI tools can be helpful when used responsibly, many posts generated purely for volume or engagement tend to lack depth, accuracy, or personal insight, which weakens the overall quality of the forum.

I think that is a fine idea - to differentiate quoted content - and, I use a blue color from the default palette that is essentially reserved just for God's Word. However, I have noticed that many on here shy away from the built-in "quote bubble" feature - why do people avoid it? Why not use it? Is it not overall better for everyone if everyone uses it?

A.I. is one part of a system designed to annihilate us. Touch not the unclean thing.

The Six-Step Attitudinal Change Plan works like this:

1. Some practice so offensive that it can scarcely be discussed in public is advocated by a RESPECTED expert in a RESPECTED forum.

2. At first, the public is shocked, then outraged.

3. But, the VERY FACT that such a thing could be publicly debated becomes the SUBJECT of the debate.

4. In the debate, sheer repetition of the shocking subject gradually dulls its effect.

5. People then are no longer shocked.

6. No longer outraged, people begin to argue for positions to moderate the extreme; or, they accept the premise, challenging, instead, the means to ACHIEVE it.

Specifically with A.I., the entire American population is being systematically exposed to this attitudinal change on a daily basis.

when you say A.I. are you including google since google now responds with an A.I. answer?

I am - that was directed towards anyone who can give me a valid answer.
I think you are more likely to get an answer if you reply to one of these comments you are taking issue with and ask the person why they didn't use the quote bubble.

I can't say that I've noticed yet , but I don't read every post on every forum . I have seen a similar thing on a different Christian site where posters just real off the words from a different web site and act as if those words r there own . That's quite easy to spot because there is nothing of that person's personality / voice in the post , I find that seriously dull and as soon as I recognize it I stop reading . People posting long messages of other people's words bores me , I want to know what u think , what u have learned from your own experience , what u believe and why u believe it . I can honestly say that I'm all me , faults , failings and typos 😜 . I want real interaction with real humans .
