Satan is on a leash and can only influence the world partially, but God has to end this sin business on earth one day so the devil is working to deceive the wicked to try to get the world to go in the direction of the New Age Christ kingdom, and one day Satan will be off his leash concerning the wicked and deceive all people who do not love God.

Look at Lucifer as wanting to help mankind to evolve and did not descend in to sins and disgrace, but descended from Venus years ago to bring the principle of mind to the then animal-man.

But Lucifer did fall in to sin and disgrace and will be punished by God, and when he fell his name became Satan to identify his new nature.
Rev 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

All people who do not love God will worship Lucifer and the new age movement is setting it up for him.
So since God has to end this sin business on earth one day and will not give up on the world until they give up on Him, and not forcing anyone to follow the New Age Christ kingdom, He has to allow Satan to work in the world more gradually until he is off his leash concerning the wicked when he claims to be God.
So there would be more occult activity, and things associated with the devil than before.
